08/07/2026: Generous salads made with fresh ingredients. A small point about the dressing: even though it's not a local specialty, a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the salad would have made it even better.
The service was excellent; the waiter was very friendly and efficient.
The restrooms need fixing... they're inconvenient and look neglected, which is a shame.
05/07/2026: We stopped in Massiac for a stroll through the flea market before heading back to Paris. This restaurant seemed lovely. We were there as a family, having lunch; the staff were warm and friendly. The dishes were delicious and generous. The meat was excellent and cooked perfectly. A big thank you to the whole team.

16/05/2026: The best place in Saint-Flour, without a doubt! Delicious local cuisine and some more original dishes. Everything is homemade. The owner, incredibly friendly, even went from the dining room to the kitchen for our enjoyment. While it was good before, we found it even better than in previous years. Excellent polenta with olives as an accompaniment to some dishes, melt-in-your-mouth pork cheek. And a delicious homemade lemon tart, for example. Plus, a great wine list. Very good value for money.
09/05/2026: A remarkable lunch at this small restaurant in Saint-Flour: delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, original flavors, and subtle combinations. The service was top-notch, efficient, light, and infused with a truly delightful sense of humor.
I highly recommend the pan-seared Aubrac beef tartare with Saint-Nectaire cream—a delight for the taste buds!
And the desserts? Absolutely divine!
A truly wonderful place that I highly recommend.

01/06/2026: I stayed at this family-run hotel for a business trip, and it was fantastic: welcoming, pleasant, surrounded by nature, and attentive to its guests.
The manager and staff are top-notch.
I encourage you to make a detour to this hotel; you'll be pleasantly surprised. The chef in the restaurant prepares delicious dishes, and the staff are always smiling. Enjoy this charming place with its swimming pool; you won't be disappointed, whether you're traveling for business or pleasure.

10/05/2026: Chance led us to this charming restaurant. We were welcomed like royalty. A very friendly atmosphere and wonderful, simple, healthy cuisine. €16.50 for a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert at lunchtime on weekdays. I challenge you to find better.

A biker-friendly stopover that welcomed us early because of the heat, with a welcome drink.
Our motorcycles were safely stored in a perfectly sized hangar.
The meal was delicious and plentiful, thank you so much Marcel, truly.
We will definitely be back because our time with you was far too short...

The menu is more local than ever (you don't forget your roots that easily): the vegetables come from the garden, and the suppliers are all nearby. That evening, we had asparagus from a local producer and a divine bisque, as well as melt-in-your-mouth lamb in a reduced jus, not to mention a truffle-infused bone marrow that was simply divine. And on top of that, the service is impeccable. Head straight to Marcolès!

The service was excellent, and the cuisine matched the quality of the service. You absolutely must try the prawn galette with leek fondue and the cuttlefish galette with potato; I don't remember the sauce, sorry.
But I highly recommend this place. Thank you for your warm welcome and the quality of your food.

The starter, main course, and dessert of the day were very good.
I enjoyed the quiet little terrace at the back of the restaurant.
The service was very quick.
I thank the waitresses for their kindness.
Ramps for wheelchairs are available to access the terrace.
If I return to the area, I will gladly return to this restaurant.
21/06/2026: As a group of Motorcyclists we stayed here for a week in June 2026. It was a perfect venue for us for touring the local area. The staff were amazing and evening meals were all superb. We were allocated two garages to lock the bikes safely away at night. The wi-fi is free and there is a great terrace and a good bar frequented by locals. We had fabulous time and will be back and would certainly recommend this hotel.
