05/02/2026: After a fantastic lunch on the terrace in the summer of 2020, we returned to the restaurant and the quality was still excellent.
I must highlight the exceptional welcome and the smooth, quick service that evening; such perfection is quite rare 👏

The dishes are generous, very fresh, and carefully prepared. The welcome was friendly, cheerful, and very professional.
The mussels (bouchot, of course!) were simply delicious.
All this at a very reasonable price.

18/01/2026: A fantastic find! This family-run hotel is ideally located just steps from the beach.
The welcome is exceptionally warm; you immediately feel right at home.
Impeccably clean and with a very welcoming atmosphere.
Highly recommended.
15/01/2026: The room was outdated and desperately needed a refresh. There was a serious soundproofing problem for a 4-star hotel; you could hear everything happening in the hallway and walking above you. Very expensive per night for the standard offered.

25/02/2026: For us, it's a sure thing... well, not this time. The children's ham and cheese galettes were dry, and you needed strong teeth to eat the rubbery galette.
The galette batter is nothing like what we're used to. No crêpe dentelle for dessert, but a large crêpe that was more like a pancake.
It's a shame, we liked the atmosphere and the location... we'll wait until a real crêpe maker comes to work in the kitchen.
24/02/2026: Or the cook learned to make pancakes. Let's not even talk about the unworked dough.

21/02/2026: A warm and professional welcome. The setting is pleasant, with attentive and helpful staff. The food is excellent from appetizer to dessert. Good value for money. Children's menu available. I highly recommend this restaurant.

30/11/2025: The service was appalling, the worst I've ever seen. The waiters were rude to all the customers. I initially thought it was a hidden camera prank, but no, not even that. After waiting 45 minutes for three mussels and fries, we left without any apology from the staff. The setting overlooking the sea is rather pleasant, which is about the only redeeming feature.
30/11/2025: The staff were awful, they brushed customers off, and showed a lack of respect. They won't be back. The service was simply unbelievable. Don't go there.

02/02/2026: The service was impeccable, the dishes beautifully presented, flavorful, and expertly prepared. We opted for the scallop menu and had a wonderful time.
12/01/2026: We stayed at this hotel, but we were extremely disappointed. The staff wasn't very welcoming, the room and terrace were dirty, and the toilet door was so clunky you practically needed Acrobat Magic to close it. You had to leave the water running for fifteen minutes to get hot water. I do not recommend it.

For two nights, restaurant on the beach and breakfast in the room..
It was perfect, the friendly staff, the perfect room, and the perfect meals too.

04/09/2025: While passing through Châtelaillon, we discovered this little restaurant, very friendly in every way. Both the welcome and the service were excellent. The daily specials are different every day, and the prices are more than reasonable. We'll be back.
Be careful with the fries; they're a little overcooked, but that's just a minor detail.
25/08/2025: Attracted by a daily special for 10.90 euros, we had lunch at this terrace restaurant. The welcome was friendly and the food was good, offering excellent value for money.

Le gars est tellement maussade. Aucun sourire aucun accueil. On est venu pour la troisième fois et pour la troisième fois les toilettes sont fermées. Le gars a visiblement menti car l’année dernière c’était déjà le cas. Donc si tu manges des moules tu repars les mains sales.
Coté nourriture le moules sont bonnes mais c’est chiche et cher. Il y a d’autres endroits. Aujourd’hui on est venu parce qu’il n’avait personne on a eu pitié mais c’est la dernière fois!
