A place where you feel completely at ease. The pleasure of enjoying excellent dishes in a cozy, calm room where you can chat in complete privacy.
The plates are beautiful, generous, and absolutely delicious, all accompanied by very good wines.
The bill won't break the bank, as the prices are very fair and entirely justified.
Finally, the whole experience is enhanced by a very kind waiter.
In short, a magnificent moment; we will return with great pleasure.

25/01/2026: We came to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday, and we couldn't have hoped for a better culinary experience! We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, and the dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious. The gentleman who serves us is very friendly. A great place to remember when we're back in the area! Thank you so much!

01/01/2026: A friendly place. Very welcoming. Quick service. The waitresses were smiling and responsive; they were attentive and accommodating to my allergies. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. Nice presentation. The only slight drawback was that the food wasn't quite hot enough for the three of us. Thank you to the entire team at L'Abbaye. Best of luck to everyone.

Wonderful and professional welcome from the entire team, with a special mention for the very pleasant waitress.
Record-time service, ideal for workers.
Unbeatable value for money, there's plenty on the plate, a multitude of choices for starters, main courses, and desserts of the day, and of course, it's delicious... one of the best traditional restaurants in Tulle, in a setting steeped in history where time seems to have stood still.
Le Bon Accueil is the France we love!

23/12/2025: Not having everything available all the time, I can live with that. Having to wait a long time at lunchtime because the restaurant has priority, I can live with that too, because I don't have another time to go.
But refusing to take two minutes to sell two sausages before closing at 5:30 PM when closing time is advertised as 6:30 PM... Goodbye.
I want to clarify that the quality isn't the issue, just the lack of customer service.
So I went to Mas, where I wasn't a regular customer, and I even got a smile and a free tin of pâté!
09/11/2025: A very enjoyable tasting of the products on offer, accompanied by homemade fries! The local meat is prepared with care, with excellent seasonings... The Steak Tartare was a particular favorite!

03/12/2025: What a shame to come for a coffee on the terrace and have to go looking for a waiter after a good five-minute wait.
The waiter was neither pleasant nor friendly.
Not to mention the poor hygiene of the service (dirty table, not even a wipe down).
Our drinks were piled on top of each other without any trays, making you wonder if this person even worked there.
It's a shame because the place is really lovely and very well located in Tulle.

I went there 3 times (1 lunch, 2 dinners), never disappointed.
09/08/2024: Très bien, un havre de paix au centre de Tulle, jardin à l'arrière de la maison de ville. Les plats sont excellents et servis en quantité plus que suffisante pour mon appétit, mais mon assiette était vide ! Service adapté à une ambiance décontractée. Et il faut signaler un restaurateur qui ne fait pas un coefficient de folie sur les vins, rare de nos jours, une bouteille de rosé, bon de surcroit à 16€, j'ai rajeuni de au moins 20 ans ! pas grâce au rosé... mais aux prix pratiqués 😉
A recommander et réservation conseillée, complet un midi en semaine

29/06/2024: Piccolo ristorante delizioso, di fronte al duomo di Tulle. Proprietari davvero accoglienti e gentili. 16 euro un entree, un piatto principale e un dolce. 14 euro senza dolce . Prezzi davvero ottimi per la Francia , così cara per noi italiani. Piatti ottimi . Materie prime eccellenti. Da segnare .
