25/06/2026: A lovely discovery at lunchtime today, in the Place des Arcades, a welcome respite from the heat and noise. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, and the welcome was very warm. Definitely worth trying.

25/06/2026: Every year during our holidays, we return with immense pleasure on market day. We have never been disappointed by the quality of the food and service. The cuisine is delicious, plentiful, and very refined. We had the opportunity to chat with the chef. What you eat can only be good because she is completely dedicated to her cooking. 15/07/2026: Endless wait for a drink; the waiter pretended not to see us. Then, at the table... the dishes were incredibly basic, no dressing on the salad, and the fries were really mediocre. In short, very disappointing. We won't be going back.

11/07/2026: Friendly service and a very warm welcome. The menu is fantastic, with plenty of choice and high quality!

14/06/2026: We arrived at L’Escale as a couple, intending to have lunch there. After requesting a table, we waited for several minutes without being attended to. Meanwhile, several customers who arrived after us were seated and served before us, while we were simply ignored. After an incomprehensible wait, without any explanation or apology, we finally decided to leave. In addition to this appalling service, the prices seemed particularly high, especially €18 for a simple Caesar salad, a price difficult to justify given what's available in the area. What should have been a pleasant experience turned into a frustrating one. We ultimately found a warmer welcome and better value for money at a simple bakery. A restaurant can make a mistake, but completely ignoring customers from the moment they arrive is unacceptable. We will not be returning.

09/06/2026: Definitely don't go there, it's very unpleasant. Even asking if we could have a more accessible table for a disabled person was complicated. Then, we were asked to leave less than five minutes after being seated because we were making too much noise. We didn't get to eat anything. The waitress was awful.
