23/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner is a true chef who knows how to delight the palate and satisfy even the heartiest appetites. As a gourmet and gourmand, I was in heaven. The owner's wife welcomes and serves you. The breakfast is very comprehensive. The hotel is quiet and very well insulated. Ideally located for immersing yourself in the world of Ferdinand Cheval, whose tomb on one side and ideal palace on the other are just a few minutes' walk away in the town of Hauterives itself. The parking lot is gated and the entrance is secured with a keypad. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in a beautiful region nestled between the countryside and the mountains.

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery right next to the Palais Idéal.
We had an aperitif. The €7 was a generous portion. Then we both had ravioli with a small salad. Everything was delicious. The Adelice ice creams are a real treat. The staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive. All this on the shaded terrace. We were even able to choose our table.

This is our second large order from this vendor. Six pizzas, and they refused to give us a bottle of Coke...
"For six pizzas, take a can, but not a bottle." Yeah, right, we'll split the can between seven of us... ridiculous.
We came last week for an order of nine pizzas and we ordered from them again. But in this region, forget about any sense of business. Just stingy, unhelpful people. In Marseille, you don't even have to ask; it's automatically included...

10/08/2024: Plats sans saveur, sans sauce (juste un pot avec des sachets de mayonnaise, ketchup et sauce pizza industriels), lieu peu agréable à côté d’une route très passante avec beaucoup de bruit, terrasse plein soleil à peine abritée par des parasols, sanitaires très sale avec un savon « solide » qui baigne dans l’eau du porte savon
15/07/2024: Parfait, lieu très agréable, propriétaire à l'écoute réelle de sa clientèle : parfait!!
Nous reviendrons souvent à l'occasion que nous passeront par ce village, peu d'autres établissements pour cette ambiance !
