Deserves a star
06/06/2026: The owners have changed… but it's at least as good. The food is excellent, both summer and winter. It's refined, with perfectly balanced flavors, and the presentation is always elegant and beautiful. In winter, dine inside in a setting of stone and repurposed objects, and in summer, enjoy the terrace in the shade of the trees.
It's a talented and friendly young couple who deserve to succeed.
The prices are very reasonable, with a set menu of three starters, three main courses, and three desserts, and everything is made with the freshest ingredients.

18/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay (4 nights) at La Villa Augusta.
The setting is magnificent, we dined at the restaurant three evenings, and the food was excellent – we thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel and restaurant staff were very pleasant, professional, and friendly.
We will definitely return.

03/02/2026: Before they brought me my food, I thought it was a little pricey, but as soon as I saw my plate 🤤...
And that taste... The best burger I've ever had, 20/20!
Very quiet place with warm and fast service, and they even offered tapenade while I waited for my food.

Le Comptoir des Arts is much more than a restaurant: it's a place where everything comes together to create an exceptional experience. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and full of charm.
On the plate, it's flawless: delicious, perfectly executed, generous, and refined dishes. Every bite is a true pleasure.
The service is on par with everything else: attentive, professional, and genuinely pleasant.
Everything was magnificent, without a single flaw. A must-visit in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux that I wholeheartedly recommend. They richly deserve the highest rating.

24/05/2026: The welcome and breakfast were excellent, however, the bathroom window had no curtain and didn't close, so mosquitoes were present. There was also no curtain for a small window in the bedroom, so I was woken up at 5 am.

17/05/2026: Endless wait, over 50 minutes... The food (daily special) consisted of hard, dried-out pasta that arrived cold—in short, not good. The salmon carpaccio was tasteless, certainly rinsed to mask the smell of spoilage 🙄 (the salmon was returned an hour later, sorry for the image), all without an apology. They even claimed we were the only ones complaining. Avoid this place, even if the setting is pleasant.
Note: I don't usually leave negative reviews, but frankly, they deserve it.

14/07/2024: Decent cuisine, nothing more, price for tourists. Reception rather cold.
21/04/2024: Relatively loud inside even though there were only 4 other guests at 2 tables. As long as you can order something, you will be taken into account. After the Rg is on the table, you as a foreigner are no longer anyone. The French guests and only those are then taken into account. There is better.

16/08/2024: A warm welcome!! Excellent cuisine (ravioli, fish, meat, etc.)!! A sure bet in the Tricastine city.
10/08/2024: Very warm welcome even without reservation. Smiling and very pleasant service despite the crowds. Excellent dishes. Very reasonable price. Pleasant terrace despite its proximity to the road. Only regret: we were in a hurry and couldn't try the desserts.
