24/02/2026: We stayed one night at the Hotel Kastel.
Cyril at reception provided an excellent welcome, both on the phone and in person. This gentleman is there to take care of you, and it shows: extraordinary! :) The room was clean and the beds comfortable.
The pleasure continued in the restaurant with Marc and Mustafa. A lovely duo, both very attentive and discreet.
The meal met our expectations.

The salted caramel galettes are disappointing because they lack caramel and are too stingy!
28/02/2026: I went to this crêperie for dinner the other night. The atmosphere was great and the dining room was very welcoming. The crêpes were delicious. The service was very quick and the staff were friendly and smiling. I would gladly return to this crêperie as soon as I have the chance.

10/02/2026: A beautiful hotel right on the seafront, ideally located, with a very warm welcome. Magnificent decor, comfortable beds, and a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend it.
22/11/2025: We really enjoyed the renovation of this hotel, the overall quality, and especially the friendly welcome. In addition, the location is a great starting point for various activities afterwards.

02/02/2026: We had a wonderful time at the Casino Barrière in Bénodet! A great evening enjoying the restaurant and games in a friendly atmosphere among the players and the casino staff.
At the restaurant, delicious dishes accompanied our featured non-alcoholic cocktail, "Parfum de Femme," which was lovely and fruity – perfect for getting into the Valentine's Day spirit.
As for the games, it was great fun! Even though we didn't win anything, we had a great time as a couple and with friends. The adrenaline was pumping, and we still managed to try out quite a few machines.
In conclusion, this entertainment establishment maintains its usual high standards. Let's not forget that, first and foremost, a casino is for having fun, not for "winning money."

26/10/2025: A fairly well-located hotel with an attractive rate. But that doesn't justify the poor hygiene of the bathroom: significant mold around the shower grout and tiles, as well as the vents, a window that doesn't open... a musty smell, and in short, an unsanitary bathroom.
The room paint, a blue that dates back to 1970, the carpet is stained, and the smell of tobacco is very strong.
I had an asthma attack!
A rather generous breakfast could be had at another hotel on an adjacent street.
The photos on the hotel's website do not correspond at all to reality.

01/10/2025: Room with 80s decor, light blue up to the ceiling, and pink bathroom.
Bathroom with black grout and water draining with difficulty.
Besides, you don't have to be too tall to take a shower because the opening is 37 cm...
You have to go through the main hotel to collect and return the keys because there are no staff in the seaside hotel.
Otherwise, the bedding is good, the pool looks nice, and there's free parking in front of the hotel on the street.

14/03/2026: We received a very warm welcome at L’Ovny in Bénodet.
The service was excellent and the food was truly delicious; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The owners are lovely and very attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
We look forward to seeing you again at Ô’Comptoir des Cocottes in Le Mans!
02/02/2026: On Saturday, I ordered a rare ribeye steak. It arrived rare, almost medium.
I reported the problem, which was acknowledged as a cooking error, but I ate the dish anyway.
At the end of the meal, we were only offered coffee, even though I don't drink coffee.
No other gesture of goodwill was made (for example, regarding the aperitif or dessert). I was disappointed with how the problem was handled. I won't be returning.
One area for improvement would be a small light directly at the restaurant exit.

06/08/2024: Aperols infects pour 8 €. Rien d'autre à ajouter. Ambiance peu chaleureuse. C'est pas facile de faire 100 caractères sur de la médiocrité.
16/06/2024: L’accueil est particulièrement sympathique.
Le teppanyaki de saumon est délicieux, avec son excellente sauce.
En dessert, la mousse de matcha faite maison est originale et excellente. On s’est même assuré que je savais ce dont il s’agissait, en me prévenant que certains n’aiment pas… moi j’ai particulièrement apprécié !
Je recommande tout particulièrement pour l’originalité et l’excellent rapport qualité prix

26/10/2025: The restaurant, which should only be a snack bar, turns out to be the best hamburger restaurant I've ever tried, simply perfect, even the homemade fries are extra. How come they serve such delicacies in a children's playground? And the decor is always beautifully designed. A must-visit place for families with children, especially in bad weather.
30/07/2025: Very disappointing: Passing through Bénodet, we stopped. Very noisy atmosphere, 30 minutes to take the order, after another 30 minutes I went to see if we had not been forgotten. I was told that the team was understaffed in the kitchen and that we had to wait another 25-30 minutes (for 4 plates including 3 salads). I asked for a refund, and after a miscalculation in my favor, I was asked to go back to the campsite reception to get my refund (and another wait) and what's more, they didn't apologize at the restaurant and they didn't even say goodbye to me. What a disappointment, what a lack of professionalism!
