03/07/2026: Le Comptoir de Bègles is a wonderful discovery. Here, you immediately sense that the food is homemade, with carefully prepared ingredients. The fish is cooked to absolute perfection, precise and expertly executed, which is sadly becoming quite rare and deserves to be highlighted. The owner adds a touch of humor that instantly puts you at ease, while the service is impeccable: attentive, warm, and incredibly kind, without ever being intrusive. A place where you feel comfortable, where you eat remarkably well, and where you already want to return. A truly fantastic experience!

07/07/2026: I was delighted by the warm atmosphere of this restaurant, the welcome was very professional and kind, the service was impeccable, the cleanliness was spotless, the value for money was exceptional and the wait was not long.

17/05/2026: The atmosphere and menu still meet expectations. However, there's a significant difference in the service. It's hard to explain, but there's a feeling of unprofessionalism. And above all, the Mojitos are definitely not to be missed. They're a complete disaster.

14/05/2026: We booked a table for four yesterday at 8:45 PM. We weren't served until 9:30 PM… When our food arrived, we had to ask for bread and sauces, while other tables were treated differently. The €16 shrimp salad was disappointing: bagged salad, four industrially breaded shrimp that weren't fresh. We also ordered desserts, including a "hot cookie" that wasn't at all soft or warm; it was hard and dry. And remember, it cost €7.90! We also ordered two coffees that never arrived. At 10:30 PM, tired of waiting, we decided to leave and pay the bill. The person at the counter was unpleasant and didn't apologize for the coffees. For the price, we were disappointed: poor quality food, too loud, and unfriendly staff. We won't be back.

17/06/2026: I had an amazing evening at Au Tout Va Bien! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the servers are always smiling and ready to help. The price is very reasonable.

15/06/2026: Good location, staff generally warm and welcoming. Visited in June 2026. I'm a self-employed nurse in the town of Bègles and I wanted to buy a bottle of water during the heatwave between patients. I was charged €5 for a bottle of Perrier. Even at airports, it's not that priced. It's probably a case of taking advantage of the heatwave to inflate water prices... Too bad. I won't be going back.

28/06/2026: I can't comment on the quality of the meal given my experience at this restaurant... We arrived at lunchtime with my son (an important detail, as a small table for two was perfectly adequate). The dining room was half empty, and the terrace was deserted. A friendly gentleman greeted us and told me there was no problem eating without a reservation, given the available space... but then another gentleman arrived (the owner, I imagine), gave us a dirty look, and curtly replied that there was no room to eat... The first gentleman, very embarrassed, apologized, saying he "didn't know"... So we left, very disappointed and surprised by the owner's unpleasant attitude. Clearly, he didn't like the look of us... As an aside, once we were outside, my son asked me: "Mom, why was that man so mean?" Good question... What's certain is that we won't be back.
