08/06/2026: First and last time at Domaine du Hirtz.
Very disappointed! I wasn't expecting this: mostly faulty facilities, very average food, very average service, no staff available to answer questions, sewage smell in the first changing room.... I won't be going back.
05/06/2026: We had the immense joy of celebrating our wedding at this incredible estate. It's a magical and charming place, perfect for a secular wedding with a rustic or bohemian theme. All our guests were equally captivated; the setting is truly breathtaking.
Furthermore, Julianna, who was with us throughout the weekend and beforehand, was incredibly attentive and responsive to our requests.
We also enjoyed the lodges, which were exceptionally comfortable and charming, perfectly reflecting the beauty of the venue. The restaurant itself is delicious, simple yet efficient. The servers are also very pleasant. It's touching that they have an initiative to employ people with visible and invisible disabilities.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further!

The flammekueche is delicious.

04/05/2026: Flamma Stuwa is a small, cozy tarte flambée restaurant, somewhat hidden away in a residential area. The service is very friendly, the menu clear and concise, offering both savory and sweet tarte flambée at truly fair prices. The tarte flambées were thin and tasty in themselves, but every single one, including those at neighboring tables, had a massive black crust (as you can see in the photos here).
This is a) unusual for tarte flambée in Alsace (I'm a frequent visitor to Alsace) and b) really unhealthy.
I know it's a small family business, but either the oven is incorrectly set, because the center of the tarte flambée wasn't perfectly crispy despite the black crust, or there's another reason. I hope this review helps improve the baking process.
I would have liked to give the food 3.5 stars, but unfortunately, that's not possible.

05/07/2024: Magnifique endroit en direction du Hartmannwillerkopf. Ici on ne vous accueille pas en vous demandant si vous avez réservé, on s'occupe de vous, on vous installe. La cuisine est goûteuse et très copieuse. On se sent bien dans cette salle chaleureuse.
23/06/2024: Magnifique découverte, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Un accueil chaleureux, une cuisine savoureuse, des plats copieux, je ne peux faire que des louanges de cette ferme auberge. Si vous passez par là, vous n'hésitez pas à passer la porte vous ne serez pas déçus.
