16/05/2026: Living nearby, I've walked past this restaurant hundreds of times, and tonight we had dinner there. The ingredients were top-quality, and kudos to the chef who prepared delicious dishes. I highly recommend the foie gras; it's one of the best I've ever tasted. As for the other dishes, you can go there without hesitation. The service was perfect, and the food was delicious. I'll definitely be back! 👍👍💪💪

24/04/2026: Intrigued by the positive reviews, we went to dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. I lowered my rating because the ventilation isn't adequate, the fried food was coming out of the kitchen, and the smell lingers in the room and on your clothes. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable, and the food is good, with refined flavors. The dishes, as in all of Alsace, are a bit heavy for our tastes. We still recommend it. The wine list is excellent.

20/04/2026: Dinner with friends after a tasting at Schmitt & Carrer: the perfect combination 🍷 A warm welcome, a friendly round table, a pleasant atmosphere, and service that was both professional and fun (jokes and homemade after-dinner drinks included!). The dishes were beautifully presented and frankly delicious. A restaurant that's definitely worth a detour… even if you're planning one 😉

29/06/2026: A truly unique experience! You have to be open to surprises and step outside your comfort zone, as you don't choose the meal or the wine pairings. In any case, for us, the surprise was a very pleasant one. We had a wonderful time as a family.

14/06/2026: We stayed for four days in this magnificent inn where the welcome and helpfulness of the staff were remarkable. Everything is tastefully decorated with exquisite taste. The premises and bathrooms are spotless. The food is worthy of a gourmet restaurant; the portions are generous, and the staff is very attentive, kind, smiling, and responsive. We felt right at home and eager to return. We highly recommend it. It's an exceptional place.

12/06/2026: Food was excellent, great products used and a lovely journey. I had the 8 course, with a couple of wine pairings. Service however was something I wasn’t expecting to be this neglectful. I arrived alone and chose this restaurant because of the amazing recommendation in the michelin website. I travelled alone for my birthday which I mentioned and while sitting alone I just got quick information on the dishes and that’s that. Which is fine when it’s busy, but I’ve been blessed to go to similar restaurants and star restaurants and there you always get more attention. When the two last rounds came I wanted some extra wine but they were gone before I could ask. And after my last course it took them over 20 minutes to notice me asking for the bill. I am a bit frustrated, and I somewhere hoped that there was a little birthday congratulation. But no. To me I felt not happy when leaving, which is a huge difference with the amazing food.
