19/05/2024: Disappointed, I ordered a multi fruit cake 1 week in advance. I show up in front of the restaurant and they forgot to make it. The boss offers to bring him to my home at 4 p.m. 5:10 p.m. we receive these cakes. There is nothing professional about making this cake. My daughter who is passing her professional baccalaureate in bakery and pastry is more professional than the pastry chef who only added fruit whipped cream and an almond cream sponge cake, the biscuit looked uncooked due to the cream. almond, I find that this cream does not go well with this biscuit, he could have put a mousseline cream or a mousse and not just whipped cream for the price it cost (40€).

31/07/2024: Nous avons eu une expérience presque surréaliste hier midi. Nous avions réservé dehors sur ce qui était un joli et accueillant jardin autrefois. Quelle mauvaise surprise quand nous sommes arrivés et vu ce qui est devenu aujourd'hui ! Le jardin est laissé complètement à l’abandon. Plus de fleurs, seuls quelques arbres entourés de mauvaises herbes, des vieux objets partout.. Vraiment dommage, on a connu ce jardin et il était super bien entretenu. Cela fait un vrai choc de voir cet endroit tomber en décrépitude, surtout que les photos sur le site internet montrent encore l'ancien jardin. On devrait les enlever pour éviter la confusion. De plus il y avait une seule table dressée... la notre! Pourquoi proposer encore des repas dehors dans ce décor déprimant?

31/07/2024: We had an almost surreal experience yesterday afternoon. We had booked outside on what was once a lovely and welcoming garden. What a nasty surprise when we arrived and saw what happened today! The garden is completely abandoned. No more flowers, only a few trees surrounded by weeds, old objects everywhere... Really a shame, we knew this garden and it was super well maintained. It's a real shock to see this place falling into disrepair, especially as the photos on the website still show the old garden. They should be removed to avoid confusion. In addition there was only one table set... ours! Why still offer meals outside in this depressing setting?

20/08/2024: Toulouse by birth, expatriate abroad, I know this restaurant well and I have been coming every year with my family for many years whenever I come to Toulouse. Not everything is perfect, but I always liked the atmosphere and the simple but good food. Good value for money in my opinion even if the accompaniments are not great, the fish and seafood are very good. However, today I am frankly disgusted by the manager's attitude. Four of us came at noon for a last meal and to say goodbye to our mother. We didn't count as usual, but some dishes were not cooked as requested, my daughter's breast was very dry and hard to eat. But we didn't complain, not wanting to be fussy and knowing the place, we can understand that they would have a day without a dish. Besides, the seafood and fish were very good overall. The server was also very polite, professional and pleasant. we really regret that the young person did not continue the service. Because on the other hand, as soon as we were in contact with the manager, we really had the impression of disturbing him, even disgusting him. He didn't even say hello to us. When I came to pay at the cash register, not a look, not a smile, not a thank you. Nothing, strong feeling of really not being welcome and without understanding why. No reason, no incident. I have never experienced such an attitude. The very cliché of the “unfriendly Frenchman”. The whole experience was ruined by his execrable attitude towards us, loyal customers who come every summer at least three times a year (this summer we came 4 times) spending between 100 and 250 euros when there are six of us. I don't understand how anyone can be so unfriendly. So of course, he never recognizes us and we don't hold it against him either. But a smile sir, a thank you have a good day, is that more to you? instead of your contemptuous looks, your sinister expression, and your rudeness, it costs nothing and it's your job. Take example from your server and your colleague (or your wife perhaps) who is usually very friendly. By your attitude, you are destroying the atmosphere of your own business. You are appalling. So, I advise against it. Because we don’t come to a restaurant as a family to feel like we’re not welcome. After many years of loyalty, this will be the last time. And all because of this poor guy.

09/08/2024: To flee, Too bad it’s a very nice setting but the value for money is deplorable. The 6 lean and dry sardines for 16 euros with questionable rice (+ an even more questionable cheese sauce) and a cat piss beer which then gave us stomach aches. The bill of more than 40 euros is very frustrating.

05/09/2024: Disappointed The app told us that our take-out order was ready, we arrived: No consideration for us and we still had to wait 20 more minutes with no certainty that the order would be ready by then. The staff answered the phone during our conversation instead of dealing with my order and my dissatisfaction

18/05/2024: We are waiting for the Next Chapter, waiting 2 hours to eat a starter and a dish of the day is far too long, despite several reminders from the bosses. Seeing tables arriving after us, served more quickly, was annoying. Maybe it's too complicated to serve a table of 10 guests. Experience that will not be repeated.

04/09/2024: Very warm welcome, very good atmosphere and the pizzas are deliciously cooked to perfection, everything I love... I just miss the Gercoise and I hope that one day it will make its return to the menu, see you soon or even at that evening 🙂

26/08/2024: First time I have had a pizza there, and I am not disappointed, very pleasant and welcoming staff, the pizzas are excellent, and we have no complaints about the value for money, I would come back and I highly recommend! !!!!

08/08/2024: Without doubt the best tapas bar I have eaten at in twenty years in Toulouse. The charcuterie is incredible! And I think this is the first time when I saw the quantities and said to myself "maybe I ordered too much". We come out satisfied! And at much lower prices than the majority of usual bars or taverns! Go for it!

20/08/2024: The restaurant "Les Amériques" offers a decent experience, with satisfactory cuisine. The real asset is the staff, very friendly and welcoming.

20/08/2024: Very disappointed with our meal yesterday…. Endless waiting, customers have actually left before…. One of the servers was very unsmiling, even unpleasant. Quality of dishes not extraordinary However, I knew this restaurant having already been there several times…

15/09/2024: Despite the crowds coming in for the lunch break, always quickly served, on site or to take away. Pleasant owner and waiters. TR accepted with credit on a future visit. Varied and quality dishes. Correctly formulated formulas.

07/08/2024: I came to the mie between 2 clients from the oncopole right next door to relax but at 5 p.m. I was informed that I would not be able to eat there because they had already done the cleaning. I stupidly thought that they closed at 7 p.m. and did their cleaning afterwards. I'm going to inform my taxi colleagues so as not to bother them again in the afternoon.

17/09/2024: Wanting a little rosé before going to the restaurant, our 2 glasses did not contain the same dose of liquid and this dose was really minimal for 6€ per glass! On the next table the lady was luckier with her glass of white wine. Not to mention the fact that the waitress tells me that we don't drink rosé with ice cubes, uh... how can I put it, I kind of do what I want, right? 🤪🤣 In short…we’ve had better!

11/09/2024: I had a mojito soup, no crushed ice, wilted mint, sparkling water without bubbles and above all without any bad taste!

29/07/2024: I came for the music "Jam" groups and it was really good, however, the choice of food was abysmal, arriving 1 hour after it opened, there were no more poulet curry frites or saucisse frites but only chicken nuggets frites. Really disappointing/
