04/08/2024: Is it a pizza or a flamenkuche? That's what we asked after opening the box. The pizzas were square and didn't make you want to eat them. The pizzas were burnt in a few places. Whoever made them was certainly not a pizza maker or a cook. The ingredients not very good, little tomato sauce, too much dough on the edges. The dough was gray and overcooked. We do not recommend their pizzas to everyone. Possibility of a nightmare episode in the kitchen.

21/07/2024: Nouveaux propriétaires, établissement à découvrir, pizzas excellentes et les autres plats très copieux. Le personnel est très accueillant.

31/03/2024: Great pizza - I had fresh mushrooms & soft egg. Fairly basic menu. Not much choice of pasta (spag bol only). No garlic bread. Fondue and pizza are the speciality here. Good atmosphere. We had nice window table which had views over forum. Booking in advance advised. Worth a visit, but other pizzerias around probably as good - if not better.

14/03/2024: Such a nice crew at the restaurant. We were late for our reservation due to the driving time and they called us to confirm we were still planning on eating there. The restaurant is really cozy and typical deco even if it’s in the gallery Marchand. The onion soup was nice and our pizzas and chianti wine just as good. My son had a piping hot tartiflette! We had a yummy tarte aux noirs for dessert and would’ve had the blueberry as well but they had sold out! Be sure to reserve yours first. We had a really nice table for five with a view of the square

17/08/2024: Super restaurant cooking over a wood fire, several choices of meat and fish, very good and very well served, pleasant welcome, booked in advance is better, we had a great time.

13/03/2024: Great ambience and decor for mountain restaurant, just what you want. We shared the 1kg beef which came on the hotplate and continued to cook. It looked great, most of it was nice but there was a lot of fat and sinnew which negated a better rating. Also quite expensive as was the wine.

09/03/2024: Magnifique endroit typique de montagne avec sa belle cheminée. Très bon repas et personnel accueillant et souriant. À refaire sans problème

01/04/2024: Had a chicken burger here for lunch and unfortunately the kitchen made an error with my order, however the friendly waitress apologized and promptly sorted the issue. Was difficult to eat the burger as it dissolved in my hands and the fries were a bit stale. The service and outdoor seating were pleasant and made for a nice meal.

14/03/2024: Family lunch, excellent, very tasty burgers, fish & chips and tagliatelle with pesto. We all loved it!!! The fries are homemade, the pesto was incredibly good. We had a great time and recommend 1000%! Please note, there are also daily specials, which is very nice at the bottom of the slopes. And the ultra-smiling waitresses :) thank you very much!!!

18/03/2024: Big disappointment for this emblematic hotel of brutalist art. The only positive point is the exceptional architecture of the bar/restaurant and its friendly staff. On the hotel side, it's a disaster, not so much for the minimalist room with a bed that has lived well as for the Formula 1 type bathroom, aging, microscopic, without any welcome product. As for the spa, with supplement, there is no bathrobe. You therefore have the choice between crossing the hotel in a swimsuit or changing, like an external customer, in a changing room with a locker. In summary, 4-star hotel prices for 1-star service. Enjoy the bar, but don't stay at this hotel, it's not worth it.

04/03/2024: We spent an afternoon at the totem spa and bar. Top spa team even if we hadn't booked, stunning view and bonus loan of the swimsuit that Madame forgot. At the bar, thank you to Ewen for these delicious cocktails and his good humor and professionalism ;)

13/04/2024: Verrassend lekker. Van salades, pasta’s en Chilli alles was lekker en zeer verzorgd. Zonnig terras om lekker te bekomen van de eerste pistes.

22/03/2024: Still extremely rude staff. We tried to get a bowl of water for our dog, after 20 mins of various staff acknowledging us but then ignoring the request. We were then told to ‘relax’. We said we are relaxed we haven’t even attempted to try to order food yet. Just wanted something for the dog! Food fairly average. Much better restaurant further down the slope - try La Pente A Jules instead. Much better!

19/03/2024: Jamais mangé une saucisse aussi mauvaise ! La saucisse-frites de base, avec des frites très convenables, mais une saucisse que j'ai du mal à définir. Et qu'aucun d'entre nous n'a mangé. Toutefois, le personnel était très sympa !

29/03/2024: Had dinner twice here with my wife & 2 daughters after a days skiing - both times the food and service were excellent. The pizzas are huge and very authentic, the burgers huge and very well cooked. My Tartiflette (triollege - 3 different Tartiflette's with different cheeses) was excellent and my wife's steak cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend this place more highly, a great find in Flaine!!

24/03/2024: The Pizzas were huge and very tasty. The service was great. Smiley attentive waiters. Good atmosphere. We will be back.

18/07/2024: Bel endroit calme, cosy un peu honereux 7€ le supplément de frites est un abusé pour des frites surgelées mais personnel très gentil

16/06/2024: Site pas à jour ne marche pas Accueil grossier Carte très limitée Vin proposé pas terrible et trop cher Enfermés dedans et des tables vides dehors. C’est dommage mais ils sont les seuls ouverts donc ils s’en foutent !

19/03/2024: We went to 1967 on a recommendation and honestly can’t speak highly enough of the place. By far our best meal out in Flaine. Somewhat uncertain about which cuts of meat to go for so asked for chef’s recommendation - 3kg between 9 of us, one veal and two beef and wow! Cooked to perfection and served with amazing mash, polenta and two sauces - mustard and truffle. Not cheap but 100% worth it. Will definitely be back.

16/02/2024: Food was really great and our waitress was lovely and very attentive. However it all went downhill when I went in to use the loo and was told by another lady that had to wait 5 min as she needed to clean it. 10 or 15 min later I go back and she’s just started cleaning, she then said it was open. A lady behind the bar then said it wasn’t and I needed to be patient and give it time to dry. I then saw the lady who cleaned the toilet serving food. Why would you clean the toilet during a busy lunchtime service unless it was flithy and if that was the case it should have been cleaned immediately!
