14/03/2026: High-altitude location with a magnificent view.
The accommodations are very nice and functional, apart from a cramped shower cubicle. There's a lovely terrace for relaxing in the sun.
We were worried about being a bit far from the slopes, but a free and frequent shuttle bus gets you there in 7 minutes.
Unfortunately, the ice rink was closed, and there was no swimming pool.
The village of Ceillac is small and very picturesque, with a shop for groceries and other essentials.
For everything else, you have to go to Guillestre (25 minutes).
A wonderful holiday if you like small resorts.

10/03/2026: For a first time, it was a real treat! The waitress was very kind, we were seated quickly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I'll definitely be back for a crêpe. Hugs from the hikers! The hamburger... mmm, yum! See you soon!

16/03/2026: The meals were well-suited to the situation. Simple and hearty, served in a pleasant setting with efficient service. However, to get a drink, you had to carry your order to the bar (wearing ski boots). Not ideal for a large group, especially considering the prices should justify a minimum level of service.
07/02/2026: If you want to feel like you're bothering them and be served by a very unpleasant waitress who makes rude remarks, go ahead.
If you want to relax with a hot chocolate in the middle of your ski day, I wouldn't recommend it.
A real disappointment, which is a shame.

Le Matefaim

12/03/2026: Last night I went to dinner with my partner at Matefaim and we were very disappointed. We ordered two rib-eye steaks, one rare and the other not very rare, and fries. They sold us two well-cooked soles, floury fries, and two lettuce leaves as decoration. Luckily, the waitress sold us a pizza. Very bad experience, I will never return to this restaurant.
16/02/2026: We had a wonderful family meal at this restaurant in Ceillac.
The welcome was very warm, the service attentive and quick, even with children. The dishes were delicious, generous, and made with excellent mountain ingredients.
A friendly place where you feel right at home, and where we will gladly return. Thank you for a lovely time!
