31/03/2024: We had a lovely Easter dinner at Auberge du Bon Laboureur! I had specifically chosen this restaurant for the great reviews and having vegetarian options. The food definitely didn't disappoint and all the extras as part of the meal were a lovely touch. The service was let down by one staff member who was quite short with us but the rest of the team were lovely and very a accommodating. The overall experience was really nice!

15/05/2024: Endroit parfait pour un déjeuner avec enfants et adultes. Nous recommandons, n'hésitez pas à réserver. Rapidement complet , nous avons eu de la chance en arrivant à 12h30. Canard et Ballotine conseillés.

Bon accueil même si au final nous ne sommes pas attendus puisque la table n'est pas prête.
Un seul menu, un peu cher, quand on découvrira ce que l'on a dans l'assiette.
Un poisson (dorade), filet en fait, bon mais en quantité limite pour le tarif. Des petits légumes en petites quantités. Le tout à peine tiède.
Le coulant au chocolat ne coule pas et le gout chocolaté est insuffisant. Servi avec de la glace rhum/raisin : pour les enfants ou les personnes qui ne boivent pas d'alcool, c'est inadapté.
Tout ceci a été évoqué avec le personnel et à l'addition, résultat : tout le monde s'en moque. Autant de rien demandé dans ce cas. Pas de geste commercial, pas d'excuse ou d'un peu de compassion. Le lieu étant touristique, on ne peut être déçu qu'une fois. C'est l'avantage.

06/05/2024: Very charming hotel, magnificent garden. Very pleasant staff, very clean room and rest of the hotel. Excellent restaurant and exquisite breakfast.
Downside: the poor quality mattress (you can feel the springs) unfortunately, for a room at 100 euros per night…
Missing one or two hooks or shelf in the bathroom.
Beautiful place however, very relaxing, deserves to be known.
30/04/2024: Nous nous sommes arrêtés à « la roseraie » lors d’une excursion de 3 jours à vélo dans la Loire pour y manger et dormir. Nous avons mangés le bœuf Rossini, le filet de cannette, le pavé de thon et l’onglet. Ces 4 plats différents ont fait l’unanimité. La sauce, la qualité de la cuisson,… tout est maîtrisé. Quant au vin, le restaurant offre un choix varié au verre.

29/03/2024: We came to spend some time near Chenonceaux and had already planned to eat in this restaurant. The reservation was quick and when we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. We ate very well, the people who served us were very kind and smiling. Thank you also for being our accomplices for the birthday :)!

29/10/2023: Pleasant welcome, the simple but comfortable room, we lacked nothing, the children were in heaven in this old residence like in a castle! The breakfast is very generous and varied. If we need something the lady takes great care of us especially with a young child.

09/08/2023: The stay in this country house was absolutely lovely!
We received a very warm welcome and were then shown our rooms, which were really large, comfortable and equipped with a modern bathroom.
In the morning we were offered a very good breakfast - consisting of baguettes, croissants, jams, muesli and fruit.
Just walking through the rooms is regal - some of the furnishings are from the old days with paintings, chandeliers and tapestries.
In addition, Chenonceau Castle and the town's restaurants can be reached in just a few minutes on foot.
This hotel is really highly recommended!
