03/08/2026: The waitresses were welcoming, kind, and efficient 😊. It's so nice to be served with such care!
The dishes are homemade, and the daily special was innovative! And the best part: the atmosphere is really pleasant. So, I'll just say one thing: GO FOR IT!
13/07/2026: We were in Le Freney for two days and were looking for a nice, family-friendly restaurant where we could eat something fresh on a summer evening… on a Monday night, no less!
"Côté Terrasse" ticked all the boxes! There was something for everyone: the children ate excellent burgers (thank you for agreeing to remove the bacon! The owner offered to add onion confit instead… a really nice touch). For the adults, there were delicious platters available… grilled hallumi, zucchini blossom fritters, focaccia, salad, homemade tzatziki… all presented beautifully on a slate!
The manager is absolutely lovely and very welcoming. The place is charming, and we even saw two chamois on the hillside: the icing on the cake! 🍰 Thank you and all the best!

11/07/2026: Is this a pizzeria? The only Italian touch I noticed was our waitress's pseudo-accent. The prices are far too high considering the (very questionable) quality of the food. They didn't even have tap water, even during this heatwave... Surprising. However, my 4.50 Coke was delicious!
10/07/2026: A pizzeria that doesn't make pizza. Overpriced dishes sourced directly from the local supermarket 140 meters away. And all for a poorly cooked burger at €23.50! Fantastic!
My respects to the busboy, though.

28/01/2026: A great place for a sweet treat or a snack. Clean window display and beautiful loaves of bread on the shelves. Very friendly service. A local shop offering good quality products (not to mention the jam and honey for sale, which certainly seem to be locally sourced). Best of luck to the whole team!

22/08/2026: This crêperie, unfortunately, doesn't live up to what one would expect from a good crêperie. The savory crêpes are sparsely filled, and the sweet crêpes lack a soft texture, with a very elastic consistency and little filling (industrial chocolate).
The only positive aspect of the evening was the waitress, who was very kind, smiling, and pleasant. It's a shame, because the service was excellent, but the quality of the crêpes was lacking. We do not recommend it.
18/08/2026: If I could avoid giving a star rating, I would.
No bread, no water, and no fresh ingredients. I agree with the previous comments. A burger for €17 that's just frozen ground beef with a brioche bun from Intermarché, two tiny pieces of tomato, and loads of sauce. A buckwheat galette, "la tartiflette," was bone dry. The portions need to be reviewed; we left hungry. Avoid this restaurant.

A friendly place for aperitifs and meals. Well-stocked platters, a wide selection of beers 🍻

15/07/2024: Eten is prima maar bediening is gestrest en inflexibel. Wij vroegen een plaats op het terras maar dat was niet mogelijk. Vervolgens was de bediening gehaast en niet vriendelijk. Wij gaan hier niet meer naar terug. Jammer want de locatie is goed.
05/07/2024: Excellent service, atmosphere and food. Carbonara, steak and chocolate fondant recommended. Good portions. Seating available outside and inside.
