They only serve tapas and no local produce... A total of one platter and two tapas for €40, with products that looked like they came from a supermarket...
That said, the staff were welcoming and the atmosphere on the terrace was quite pleasant (despite the many smokers).
09/08/2026: We were passing through Voiron and had a fantastic meal. The service was very quick and the staff very friendly.

Everything was perfect: a warm welcome, impeccable service, a delicious menu featuring high-quality ingredients, and an elegant and inviting setting.

08/08/2026: A charming little restaurant with a warm welcome and very reasonable service time. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. Easy parking near the restaurant, convenient for buses, and close to the train station. The shaded outdoor seating was very pleasant and airy, a welcome respite from the heatwave. I highly recommend "Aux Copains d'Abord".

Everything was delicious and fresh, from the appetizers to the dessert!

08/06/2026: We went to eat and listen to a concert.
The welcome was very good.
The meal was fine.
One waitress (tall) was not at all polite or helpful. I asked her what a pinsa was, and I had to repeat it four times.
Later, she came up behind me to take my platter, which I had barely finished eating, without asking, of course, bumping into me and knocking over a glass. My friend had shards of glass under his feet. She went to get a broom, and without asking us to get up or anything, she started sweeping. We got up, and she barely even said sorry or thank you; we were in her way.
Later, some people sat down at the next table.
And she started again, bumping into me, and when she took our order, I got a smack on her backside.
But she didn't seem to mind and did it again while serving them.
So perhaps she needs to learn some manners and politeness.

The Pollen menu (€60) consists of four amuse-bouches, two small starters, a main course, a pre-dessert, a dessert, and four petit fours.
The cuisine is indulgent, well-executed, and original. The corn-based starter was particularly delicious. The red mullet cooked in a light, crispy sauce was equally excellent.
The non-alcoholic beverage pairing was very good.
The service is very quick, while the setting is intimate and very pleasant.
A great find, I highly recommend it!

01/06/2026: This was our second time using this hotel as a stopover on the way home. The hotel's location is fantastic – ideal for a break while traveling – the staff is very friendly, and the surroundings are beautiful. Unfortunately, however, the air conditioning doesn't work. During our last visit a year ago, it wasn't even 34°C outside, yet the room was the same temperature. This time, we had to sleep in 27°C again. A shame 😕 so, unfortunately, it won't be our stopover on the way home again.
31/05/2026: A very nice hotel. Excellent service. Very pleasant staff from reception to the restaurant. I recommend it.

01/03/2026: It used to be a good bakery, but now… the service is unpleasant, the saleswoman doesn't listen to our order, gets the price wrong, and the quality has dropped so much. Really disappointed.
25/02/2026: I bought some individual cakes, they're very good. However, I bought gluten-free ones, and the problem is the saleswoman didn't know what she was talking about. I trusted her, and luckily the person didn't eat them. Please don't sell without knowing what you're selling; otherwise, they're very good.

23/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. The man at the counter was cold, unpleasant, and clearly unwelcoming. No greeting, no politeness whatsoever—an unacceptable attitude for a business.
I'm not from Voiron; I stopped at the bakery closest to the train station, and honestly, that was a huge mistake. You even get the impression that you're being judged based on who you are.
When you can no longer tolerate customer interaction, you need to ask yourself some serious questions, because this behavior gives a very bad impression of the place. I will never set foot in this place again, and I strongly advise against going there.
18/05/2026: Good coffee and croissants. Toilets very clean, but the reception really needs improvement.

04/07/2024: I came this morning by chance and had a Pavlova. I was surprised to find a biscuit inside... Ok. It was too sweet for me, so everything mixed together without really bringing out the different tastes. The meringue was too hard, as it was on top when I tried to take a piece, the dessert was crushed. We wait for dessert until it melts like a cloud. A little disappointed.

Les produits sont frais,délicieux et servis en quantités suffisantes.
Très bon vin.
Les serveurs sont réactifs,souriants professionnels et sympathiques.

26/07/2024: Endroit superbe, environnement et terrasse agréables: malheureusement la qualité s'arrête là où commence la frime et notamment dans l'assiette.
Sous des effets de présentation chic et tendance, c'est le choc de la fadeur et parfois de l'indigent, surtout au vu du prix! eh oui pour plus de 200€ à 3: cocktail 10€ plat 30€ bouteille 50€ dessert 10€ et entrée 24€ les 12 mini bouchées...
C'est la deuxième fois que je viens c'était à midi et il me semblait garder un bien meilleur souvenir ici le soir douche froide!
Quantités trop justes pour le plat accompagné de trois fois rien: une simili purée d'aubergine insipide pour la poitrine d'agneau trop peu cuite.
Heureusement il y a... des frites: Les frites parlons-en, une honte absolue, recuites mais froides, à la fois molles et cramées: un must ! ...Une bonne purée à la place ou des smashed potatoes un peu épicés remplaceraient avantageusement l'effroi déceptif. Curieusement personne au commande ne semble prendre mesure de ce qui est souvent remarqué dans les commentaires.
Beaucoup d'apparence et de soin dans la présentation mais le produit N'EST PAS dans l'assiette, bref de l'emballage tape à l'oeil.
Pour être complet: les cocktails étaient corrects (et les desserts dans une mesure normale) mais bref nous venions pour manger...
