You have to go to the bar to ask for what you want.

30/05/2026: We went to the Irish pub during the Champions League. The waiters were very unpleasant and asked us to leave because we had barely finished our pints. After they pressured us into ordering more drinks, they took a very long time to serve us and were unpleasant again. I understand that the Champions League is a busy night, but that's no excuse for being rude to customers!
24/05/2026: Bryan gave us an excellent welcome and made sure we had a great time (there were eight of us!). He took great care of us, and we happily returned the next day.
Thanks also to Ewen for managing a Saturday night so well, especially considering he's just starting out. Everything was perfect!
Highly recommended for a great time in Angers.

25/05/2026: Positive points: The concept is nice, the decor is lovely, the bouncers are very friendly, and the woman at the entrance outside was too; they were all smiling and welcoming.
The music was good from 1:30 am onwards, and we could see the young woman enjoying herself up there, which I thought was cool.
Negative points: Handbags are allowed, but fanny packs aren't, and a fanny pack is a storage fee, even though it doesn't take up much space, so it's expensive for what it is. We opted for this to be less cumbersome, but in the end, we would have had to bring our handbags, so we didn't order anything inside because we couldn't store our credit cards.
And there were way too many people crammed together; we had to leave quickly.
And drinking on the dance floor is fine, but when alcohol gets spilled everywhere because people don't know how to dance and drink at the same time, it's a real pain.
05/05/2026: Huge disappointment regarding the reception. The bouncers gave a terrible impression of the nightclub. My friends and I were turned away and received obscene gestures from them. Is this what hospitality is all about? Is this how customers should be treated?
Furthermore, one of my friends wanted to go for the first time in her life, something she'd been wanting to do for a while (she kept saying she wasn't old enough to go). Now she's old enough, and she was immediately turned away and subjected to inappropriate behavior. I'm disappointed and hope this doesn't happen again.

11/06/2026: If I could give it zero stars, I would. Large bag in the cloakroom €6, I paid €9 and got a comment on the way out saying "next time, no way." Music not to our taste. No way for us either. Awful.

24/12/2023: Ils sont 4 personnes à nous regarder nous servir en frites... peut-être pour surveiller ? Mais très gênant.
La sauce au poivre ? Aucun goût de poivre...
Le burger on avais demander bien cuit, il était totalement saignant...
Ne parlons même pas de l'état du Burger... Nous en avons eu pour 32 euros pour au final manger au macdo pour 28 euros ?

There were 7 of us passing through Anges for a Rugby match, and we discovered Lucullus.
We were charmed by the welcome of the owners and by their bistro-style cuisine.
During our next visit to Angers, we will return there with great pleasure, and this time we will eat on the Gastro side.
We highly recommend the restaurant "Lucullus"
20/03/2024: First of all, the place, a pretty vaulted cellar conducive to calm and a form of escape from the city. Then, few tables, a guarantee of avoiding the incessant and tiring hubbub found in other restaurants. Then very friendly service with very good waiters. And of course, the kitchen. Beautifully presented, sometimes with unexpected touches. Special dedication to the foie gras ravioli. The chef has cooked for the greatest but he doesn't flaunt it, a sign of quality, not to mention that the restaurant has existed for a long time, a sign of quality here again in the face of brands that waltz a little too much. Very nice experience in the end. At most, we could wish for a little more on the plates for certain dishes and desserts and a little more pronounced flavors sometimes (notably for the cointreau in the trilogy of desserts) but these tiny reserves should not hold us back from going there .
