Decor and atmosphere: very British.
Pleasant terrace on a pedestrian street.
Ideal for a drink or the whole evening.
11/04/2026: Cool, but the staff wasn't very welcoming in my opinion; we felt like we were intruding in the bar even though we were the only ones there. Aside from that, good selection of drinks and a nice place.

The reason lies in the service, which spoils the experience.
Indeed, apart from one waiter (a tall one) who is polite, friendly, and pleasant, the rest of the staff makes you want to go somewhere else.
The only saving grace for this establishment is that it's the only café/restaurant in the area.

14/06/2026: I came to watch the Brazil-Morocco match and, to my great surprise, a security guard refused me entry because I was wearing a Morocco jersey and wrongly accused me of being drunk, even though I don't drink alcohol and showed no signs of it. Despite my explanations, he refused to let me in simply because I am Moroccan, which I consider a discriminatory and racist act, and I believe such behavior is unacceptable. DISMISSAL
11/06/2026: The bouncer is the worst human being in all of humanity, I sincerely wish him failure in his life, I am someone who appreciates everyone without judgment but this guy is truly the worst our species has produced.

09/03/2026: This is the first time I've been disappointed by this restaurant. I went one evening with my children. The buffets were almost empty, and the food didn't look fresh at all. It's a shame. There are fewer and fewer cafeterias these days, but I can understand why.

14/08/2026: Horrible, disgusting 🤮 Avoid at all costs! The fries are frozen solid. I didn't order ice cream with fries, and they serve us spoiled food, treating us like Dobermans! Run away!!!
24/07/2026: Of course, we don't go to a pizzeria to eat fries, but since they're on the menu, we might as well take advantage! But what a disaster!! Small portion, really small, and not even cooked! We might as well have eaten the potatoes raw.

30/05/2026: Exorbitant prices for what it is. An unusual place, but not worth the prices (free entry advertised on the website, which is FALSE).
It's small, so it gets very crowded, the smoking area is always open, and the smoke reeks of cigarettes, making you want to throw up on the dance floor.

02/08/2026: It's not for nothing that this is the highest-rated nightclub in Angers; the staff are unpleasant and the club is awful.
01/08/2026: I don't give a damn, I'm going to speak French.
The bouncers only let you in under two conditions:
Either you're white or you have girls around you.
They don't give a damn if you're willing to pay triple the price or buy drinks inside. If you're white, completely wasted, and walking crookedly, you get in. If you're dressed like you're going to a sleepover, you get in.
But the bouncers are Black, let's speak French. They look at you for NO REASON and turn you away. Same for La Chapelle.
Seriously the worst club in the world.

The cashiers mixed up my takeout bag and gave me a drink that wasn't meant for me.
They practically yelled at us for taking someone else's drink, even though they put two drinks with different names in my bag. Completely unprofessional. This employee needs immediate disciplinary action and reprimand. Avoid Starbucks. They offered no compensation for their mistake other than accusations.
