26/06/2026: A superb crêperie!! I was looking for a cozy place during my trip to Angers. It was my first time eating out alone, but the waiter made me feel very comfortable; he was incredibly helpful and kind! As for the crêpes: I ordered an Angevine, which allowed me to discover a local specialty! It was very generously filled!! And for dessert, a honey-lemon crêpe, my favorite combination 😍 A wonderful experience, which gave me a great ending to my last day in Angers ☀️ I wouldn't hesitate to come back if I'm ever in the area again 🫶🏻 Thank you for the warm welcome, Lucie

18/07/2026: I stopped by for a quick coffee in the early afternoon of July 16th. I waited at the entrance, said hello, and a manager told me to take a seat. After waiting for a while, I did. I saw several waiters and waitresses walk past me without saying a word. I finally gestured, and a waiter approached and said "Hello" in a mocking tone, as if to imply that I should have said hello, even though I had done so upon entering. I told him I would like a coffee and a drink, please. He went to find a colleague and seemed to be ignoring me (I didn't understand). Five minutes later, he returned and asked for my order again. A little while later, he came back without my coffee but asked me to pay. Surprised, I replied, "But I don't have my coffee!" He responded, "That's how it is here." I agreed to pay, especially since I was sitting on the terrace, but I wanted my coffee to be there. Don't make a fuss, I want to pay. I give him €10.20 for a €2.10 coffee. He doesn't want cash and asks for my bank card. I tell him I don't have my card on me. I've never seen anything like it! Either he didn't know how to give change, especially with the exact amount! It's outrageous. Anyway, I left, and when he saw me leaving, he said, "Wait, I'll ask my colleagues if they have any." I think all this drama just for a coffee is ridiculous. And I was really polite, and I didn't even get angry 😒, even though I could have. I went to get my coffee next door at the pub. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly, and I paid with my €10 note without any problem. Where is the Café du Théâtre I knew? It's so sad 😥 Keep an eye on your employees, and I certainly won't be advertising.

12/07/2026: A little disappointed with our last amateur show, where most of the friends who were with us dozed off. The actors are very good in their own way, but not up to the standards of the restaurant-theater.

17/08/2026: I ordered a strong, dry cider and received a sweet, tasteless apple juice. I also ordered two galettes: one burrata and one Savoyarde. The burrata was sparsely filled, and the Savoyarde was dry and underfilled. A more generously filled galette would have been much better; it gave the impression of skimping on ingredients and made the dish feel rather empty, with so much galette compared to the rest of the meal. A shame.

23/06/2026: I had a wonderful time at Le Boudoir. I highly recommend it. The tapas are delicious and the setting is idyllic. Go for it without hesitation!

17/05/2026: Passing through Angers before heading back to Paris, we tried La Soufflerie to discover the concept. The idea of ​​a soufflé is original and a welcome change from traditional restaurants. We ordered a Savoyard soufflé, a ham and cheese soufflé, a salmon and spinach galette, and two sweet strawberry soufflés. Honestly, it wasn't bad, but we left rather disappointed. Perhaps I'm not a big fan of soufflés, but overall we felt they lacked a bit of flavor and depth. We were expecting something more indulgent and with more pronounced flavors. The desserts were decent too, but nothing memorable. In the end, nearly €70 for three people seemed quite expensive considering the experience. It's a shame, because the concept really had potential.

16/05/2026: It was a discovery, one my father took us to 30 years after his first visit. The concept is fantastic, the soufflés are visually stunning, delicious, served quickly, and all at the same time! I highly recommend going to support this institution!
