19/09/2024: Very warm welcome, great breakfast, only 2-3 things are missing to welcome you in the rooms (kettle, coffee or tea, cotton pads)

09/09/2024: Unfortunately our stay coincided with the Friday closure of the restaurant / bar so arrival was by arrangement. Despite being 1 1/4 hrs late, the message from Patrice was of concern for our welfare, not annoyance! The hotel and restaurant are very clean and the room of reasonable size (had smaller in 3* plus!). Added benefit is that Patrice speaks very good english. and is a very welcoming host. There is ample free parking nearbye. We enjoyed a normal french continental breakfast - ample for our needs. The town is very well presented with many floral displays, a spacious square and an interesting park with lakes and children’s play areas. Everywhere is very clean - puts the Brits to shame! Would definitely recommend and would stay longer next time.

16/11/2024: The food is very good, the waiter is not very smiling and not friendly. Be careful with your sand pits, some contain rust inside. If a controller passes he will make a comment to you.

29/10/2024: We were very well received. The dishes were plentiful and very fine. To do and do again if you go to Saint Hilaire you will not be disappointed.

26/08/2024: Que dire lorsque la salade pommes de terres - hareng est en fait une (très médiocre) salade pommes de terre - THON (!)*, que la salade norvégienne manque complètement d'assaisonnement, que la pavlova n'en est pas une puisqu'en guise de fruits rouges il n'y a qu'un coulis rouge et sucré qui n'a de goût que . . . le sucré, avec une boule de glace vanille qui n'a rien à faire là, et que le fondant au chocolat manque désespérément de fondant, et que même le cappuccino est médiocre ? *(Explication : "Ha oui, je me suis trompée sur l'ardoise !")

24/08/2024: Very good pizzas, with quality toppings. The USA ice cream cup was very delicious! There were people in the restaurant and the service was efficient and pleasant.

12/08/2024: We did not plan to eat here, but were glad we did. Nice atmosphere, good food and reasonable prices. The staff were busy but coped very well. Will definitely return.
