04/08/2026: This is my second time stopping at the Au Canons d’Or restaurant in Hazebrouck, and once again I'm not disappointed! The service is quick, the food is delicious, and the welcome is always warm. The owner and servers are pleasant, smiling, and attentive, which contributes to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A great place that I will gladly return to every time I'm in Hazebrouck. I highly recommend it!

07/09/2025: After a phone call assuring me it was open 7 days a week (this needs correcting on Google), my wife, my father, and I went to this restaurant last week. The gravel parking lot is opposite the restaurant, and you have to cross a busy road to get there. This is the only drawback, which is why I deducted a star from the overall rating (I didn't know where else to deduct it). It's worth noting, however, that the owner told us we could park behind the restaurant if we had mobility issues. We received a very warm welcome in a beautifully decorated dining room. The meal, made with homemade dishes, was excellent and refined without being stuffy. We were served at our own pace, which is very rare. We will gladly return and highly recommend this establishment. Thank you again for this excellent meal. 😋

21/06/2026: Very, very disappointed. We had chosen to return (our first experience in March was perfect). The foie gras was undercooked, the bread was soaked in fat, the ribeye steak was tough and full of sinew, tasteless, and the accompanying potatoes were too greasy and bland. It's a shame not to end on a good note.
