19/05/2024: This restaurant made me realize that French gastronomy is really exciting. I ate some prawns, a lobster and for dessert the norvégienne omlette. To cry with joy. My girl ordered the foie and calamari and they were also spectacular. 100% recommended and also economical for what it is.

Joyful, generous, good products, sought-after wines at very reasonable prices (Pataille at €30 for connoisseurs), unlimited desserts (yum rice pudding). In short, we have never been disappointed and what can we say about the service, super friendly and very professional. See you soon, dear friends of the shaper!

Their terrace is magnificent among the plants and the breakfast taken this morning is tasty with real croissants, excellent homemade strawberry jam and real squeezed oranges. It's perfect!

01/06/2024: Stunning. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for the first time for dinner. Very very very good surprise. Excellent meal, magnificent setting and lovely service. The soft-boiled egg is superb. One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at! Even though it's on a budget, I think it's definitely worth it and I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you again for this pleasant evening!

A very warm welcome at the store, good advice with a wide choice of well-known references and some less so but all sorted and tested by the team in place. Sitting on the terrace with a drink and a plate of good local produce is really a plus!

08/06/2024: If you pass through Villerouge to visit the castle, don't hesitate to go eat at the Tavern! the concept is original: tapas which serve as main courses and starters, it's copious, and, frankly, it's good! Plus the team is very nice!

26/03/2024: An address not to be missed under any circumstances, succulent traditional cuisine, excellent service and welcome at a very reasonable price, the old bistro decor is adorable. One of the best "small Parisian places" that I have been able to visit since my arrival in Paris...... 40 years ago now. Bravo ladies/ladies who 2 in the rooms, 1 in the kitchen ensure "serious"!!!!

12/03/2024: I went to this restaurant for dinner with a friend who was taking a TGV in the evening without having made a reservation. We came to find out 30 minutes before the opening - people were busy in the room - to find out if it was possible to have dinner in 1 hour 15 minutes maximum upon arriving at the opening, i.e. 7:30 p.m. Smiling, reassuring, facilitating welcome: answer yes. The crispy pork trotters are excellent, the duck breast is perfect and plentiful enough, the baba au rhum was really rum-flavored. And we can find 50 cl wine - perfect for two - at a reasonable price, which is increasingly rare! The imposed deadline was met without problem. The setting is deliciously retro. A great discovery for just over €80 for two, this restaurant where I will definitely return with more time available.

04/06/2024: Exceptional. This bistro has wonderful food selections which they update frequently. Service was impeccable and great ambiance. We had many very good meals in Paris but I must say that the Au Bois Doree was our favourite. Highly recommended
