21/04/2026: I've been hooked for years on Shin Okusa's "timeless" duck breast and foie gras pie, usually preceded by carpaccio of rare Obsiblue prawns (raised in the world's largest lagoon, on the west coast of New Caledonia). The fish dishes are equally recommendable, and the atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for when you visit the Ledru-Rollin area and the Aligre market (the authentic version of this neighborhood, not the artificial one). Ayako is largely responsible for this. Excellent wine list.

19/04/2026: Absolutely delicious! We opted for the chef's tasting menu (5 courses). Refined, flavorful, and surprising dishes: the perfect fusion of French and Japanese cuisine. We recommend it 1000 percent!

12/04/2026: A fantastic find just steps from the Aligre market! Omar, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. You immediately feel the spirit of the place. In the kitchen, his wife is a delight: delicious, generous dishes made with love. An authentic spot, just the way we like them, where you eat well and feel right at home. We'll definitely be back!

11/04/2026: We went because our hotel was nearby. At first, they gave us a table next to the kitchen, which was very uncomfortable, so we asked to move to the upstairs dining room, and they moved us without any problem. There was a guy who spoke Spanish, and although we speak French, we don't speak it perfectly, so it's nice to find someone who speaks your language. To be honest, we didn't have high expectations, but the food pleasantly surprised us. In the end, it was the best place we ate during our visit to Paris!

19/04/2026: Our first night back in Paris, and we were looking for someplace that was open (it was Sunday) and had different types of cuisine. We had the Salade Italianne, which was fantastique!

The service is quick, often a bit rushed given the crowds, which can make it feel a little hurried. That said, the value for money is unbeatable in the 11th arrondissement. I highly recommend it!

08/04/2026: We had a very late lunch (or early dinner @ about 4 pm), and we were welcomed and had a wonderful dining experience there. We ordered onion soup, escargot for a starter, then duck confit and a cheeseburger for our main course, and ended with crème brûlée with espresso. Everything is well-timed & served, freshly prepared (not Michelin's standard but it is still tasty!), and accompanied by an attentive gentleman who always brings us a spare utensil for sharing and surprises us with a cup of free Gelato after we finish our dessert, without leaving and still chatting in the restaurant. Lastly, he understands that we would like to use up our coins before we leave Paris, and he kindly took it all and didn't mind it short a dollar from the total bill! Truly a wonderful Parisian experience we have had so far! I will be sure to revisit this place when I am back in Paris again!

They realized I was not eating it and they immediately stepped up and offered to change it to something else The atmosphere is really nice too, a familiar restaurant to go eat and enjoy the neighborhood
