15/09/2024: The lady who is believe was the manager was so helpful & could even speak English and they had an English menu available too. The food was absolutely incredible, I really recommend the escargots & the beef bougignon. We visited before the moulin rouge show which is just a couple of minutes walk away.

21/07/2024: Traditional French cuisine restaurant. Finally a small, warm restaurant where you can taste traditional recipes. We ate foi gras with potatoes and truffles, duck, beef bourguignon. Everything exquisite. The owner and also the waitress were very friendly and passionate. Advised.

08/12/2024: Delicious ceviche and quesedillas. Good Banoffee dessert. Friendly service with a welcome rum. Nice vibes!

01/12/2024: An excellent discovery, everything was perfect! The great service, the original and really very very good dishes, even the little Chenin which accompanied everything well. We had a great time thanks to the team. Thank you for the very good little planters.

17/01/2024: Great night ! We chose the 6-course discovery menu around Kobe beef, the dishes were all succulent (special mention for the caviar/Kobe tartare which was incredible) the combination of dishes was perfect, the meat literally melted in your mouth! On the other hand, I didn't like the dessert part (black lemon parfait), it's a shame there wasn't another choice to make it flawless. Apart from that everything was very good, impeccable service too, we will come back for sure!

13/01/2024: New Year's Eve dinner: Me and my partner decided to eat at Aunts Jeanne for the New Year, The welcome was warm, the food and wine selection was exceptional and my partner's meal was very good. However, I was a little disappointed with my proposed vegetarian menu, I didn't have the menu in advance so it was a complete discovery, the first starter was exceptional, I loved it! On the other hand, the rest was really meh... Summary: sprouts in salad, celery that was too hard, and a revisited risotto without any real flavor and I had to ask for extra truffle because I found that for the price my dishes were not up to par. On the other hand, the desserts were delicious! Being a former resident of Aunts Jeanne, I had very high expectations because I know what they are capable of! Otherwise apart from this, don't hesitate to come and give your own opinion, it's worth it

14/12/2024: Die Liebe für gutes Essen, zu den Produkten und dessen Zubereitung kann man schmecken. Ein hervorragender Service rundet den gelungenen Abend ab. Unbedingt empfehlenswert.

18/11/2024: Une merveilleuse expérience culinaire à Montmartre… Avec un talent audacieux, ses compositions gourmandes surprennent les palais les plus aguerris dans une rencontre de produits nobles frais et locaux ,issus du terroir et de la mer. La carte est une véritable ode aux saisons et à la nature. Les plus grands crus conseillés par le sommelier accompagnent cette exigence. Une équipe souriante et accessible qui rend ce moment unique dans une ambiance conviviale. Je recommande +++++

16/12/2024: My wife and I had such a wonderful meal here celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was incredible and the staff were lovely. We are English and our French is very poor, the staff were very accommodating, welcoming and helped us understand the menu. Very reasonably priced for such a fantastic meal. We would definitely recommend! Thank you very much.

07/12/2024: Very friendly staff and good French Food. Everything unclear was patiently explained. The atmosphere was enjoyable even though people were waiting outside, they let you finish at your own leisure.

30/11/2024: Edit: after many evenings ah Carolus since this review, I confirm that this bar is great!! I celebrated my 30th birthday at Carolus last Saturday and I had a great evening! Very good experience. I contacted the bar well in advance for this reservation because I wanted to make the evening unforgettable; I had ordered a photo booth and an activity via external service providers and the manager happily accepted! The bar organized a buffet (hot & cold) which we agreed together in advance. The system for ordering drinks in the back room (via a screen) is very well thought out and prevents everyone from spending the evening waiting behind the bar. Overall I got everything I wanted; good communication, everyone was very caring and helpful throughout the organization! Staff & manager(s) VERY friendly and warm; there was a small hiccup with the reservation time but we were compensated for a longer happy hour; knowing, basicly, that the bar is still very affordable! Conclusion I had an excellent evening, as did all my guests!

22/09/2024: Great little Family Bistro tucked down a side street a couple blocks from the Moulin Rouge. The food was good, not great, however the service was fantastic and the owners son was so personable and pleasant to chat with. One of our favorite dining experiences in Paris. I had the duck and mashed potatoes, very good.

21/09/2024: Being a regular at this bistro, this is the first time I want to post a comment. I would like to congratulate and thank Soraia, she found herself alone and had to manage the service alone and despite everything she was attentive and extremely kind and did not even have time to eat peacefully due to the customers who requested her so a big thank you to her for her kindness 🫶🏼. If I could have given myself more than 5 stars I would have given it 10. I would recommend even more from her, a big thank you 😊

18/12/2024: Fantastic meal with friends, we shared the bresse chicken with Mac n cheese, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes and a salad. Each was exceptional. The staff was warm and friendly and the meal was enjoyed family style.

08/08/2024: Didn't make a reservation but were immediately seated outside on the terrace. Small menu but enough variety. The dishes themselves were simple but super tasty, with fresh ingredients and, above all, very fair prices. Good wine list and very friendly, personal service. I would recommend everyone to visit this restaurant.

08/08/2024: A very nice discovery for this pretty, very typical Montmartre restaurant... Beautiful decoration, white tablecloths, perfect service with the kindness of the owner, succulent dishes, perfect wines, in short what more can I say... nothing because everything is great... It’s good to feel so well received… well done, keep it up, we’ll definitely come back… and just a little wink, enjoy your next shooting stars in Marrakech 😉
