10/02/2024: Absolutely divine experience at L'évasion! Indulged in the best pork chop of my life paired with truffle pasta and a superb glass of red wine recommended by the owner. We also loved the French pastry dessert called « Paris Brest ». A true culinary escape
05/02/2024: After several hours of transportation and meetings, we stopped at this establishment to ask for a coffee. The staff stared at us and told us they don't serve coffee. We see their machine and make a nice little comment to them. “No, it’s a restaurant, we don’t serve coffee.” What is the bar used for?

04/04/2024: My colleague and I walked from Gare du Nord to a meeting which was just around the corner from Valois. My plan was to eat at a French bistro ahead of our meeting and this is what we experienced. I think we were fairly lucky to get a table without a reservation. Everyone at the bistro was very polite. The food was great but it wasn't what I ordered. I guess I can't really fault the staff for not understanding English. I ordered blood sausage and sole came out instead. Even with the mistake I would definitely go back if/when I have a meeting at the same location
02/04/2024: I had the best time at Valois. Maréva was amazing. Kevin put me at ease as I was a little shy upon arrival. Mamadou was polite. I stayed for several hours till closing. Super friendly service in a great location. I shall get started on those French film recommendations. Merci beaucoup!

Le Cafe Jacquemart-Andre

29/07/2023: It’s located in the Jacquemart-André museum and its food was very good and the staffs were also kind.
The interior is very beautiful and elegant.
When you choose the dessert, they ask you to come with the them to show and pick it, and it was also a fun for me.
I’m a bit sad because I heard that the museum will be closed soon for one year to renovate.
19/07/2023: Wonderful hidden cafe restaurant. We went there for tea hour (after 15h). The cakes and ice tea were wonderful. The setting is amazing: you are in a beautiful museum with amazing wall and ceiling paintings. The garden is somptuous. Service is top notch. You can access the cafe without getting a museum ticket. Unfortunately they’ll close the museum and cafe at the beginning of august 2023 for renovations. I don’t know when it’ll reopen.

22/02/2024: Very nice decor, pretty setting, real tablecloths, beautiful crockery.... but the cuisine is vulgar, no refinement in the flavors.
The wine we were served was not the one indicated on the menu. And to top it off the waiter who took care of us was not pleasant.

15/01/2024: Honestly great, a top experience, I have never seen so much good humor, joy and compassion. This bistro is truly a chic place. You have to go there to be dazzled by your eyes.
02/11/2023: Overcooked pasta, a tasteless dish and a waiter who implies in a very haughty tone that we expressed ourselves incorrectly when the kitchen made a mistake. The quality/price ratio is not there!

05/03/2024: Auberge Saint Augustin is being operated under a different name (Lucy) and is no longer Moroccan, it is now Ethiopian. We didn't try Lucy because we were dead set on tagine.
28/01/2024: We were able to make a reservation but this restaurant no longer exists.
