29/07/2026: A very warm welcome, a remarkable table d'hôte featuring local produce, and everything is homemade.
The rooms are simple, very clean, and comfortable.
The breakfast is exceptional; even the pastries are homemade.
26/07/2026: The services at this impeccably clean hotel are exactly what you'd expect from a 2-star establishment.
However, I would give 5 stars to the restaurant and its chef, Jean-Luc, who creates delicious cuisine using fresh, local ingredients with a touch of creativity that makes all the difference. Brigitte's service is attentive and efficient. Without a doubt, the best place to stay in the resort, perhaps even in the Ossau Valley! Thank you!

Hôtel Restaurant Richelieu

17/05/2026: How can I put it… A typical biker hotel/rest stop in the region, full of charm and authenticity.
The welcome is warm and friendly. The food is breathtaking: excellent, generous, and very hearty dishes. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation!
11/03/2026: I loved this hotel; it's a beautiful, very old building. The decor is rustic in the bar and dining room (and I mean that as a compliment!). There's a grand, majestic staircase leading to the rooms (there's also an elevator).
In the rooms: large antique doors, large windows, etc... You feel transported back in time.
We were lucky enough to get a room with a bathtub, which was incredibly pleasant after a day of skiing.
It's also lovely to have an aperitif or tea in the hotel bar, or to enjoy a meal in the restaurant in the evening, which serves local dishes; the menu is very generous. The breakfast is very generous for the price; there's a wide variety of options.
I highly recommend this hotel, which I think offers excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back.

14/03/2026: My son just bought two baguettes, supposedly identical, and when we went to have them for breakfast, one of them was inedible. It was hard, stale bread.
It's a shame because we're regulars at this place. But now we won't be. Is it because he's a child and children can be taken advantage of?
07/03/2026: Lunch on the terrace overlooking the slopes. Quick, efficient, and friendly service. The food is good and reasonably priced. Very satisfied with this place.

We had an excellent and generous meal at a reasonable price!
J.M. is attentive and generous, and gave us great advice for the upcoming stages of the GR10. Top-notch!

20/10/2024: Ouvert en Hors saison, quand tout est fermé autour. La planche duo en guise d'apero à ravi les papilles des fans de fromage. Pour la suite nous avons été plus classique avec nos entrecôtes. Cuisson respectée, sauce béarnaise, c'est du local. Merci pour cet accueil chaleureux, les conseils sur les artisans du coin. La mascotte à 4 pattes nous a bien amusé.. Leur intérieur est plus grand que ce que vous apercevez par la fenêtre...la déco participe à l'ambiance chalet montagnard. Mon dessert a la châtaigne était léger et parfait. Merci. Adresse à garder.

19/07/2024: Nydelig mat. Vi spiste dagsfersk ørret som ble servert med utsøkt ris til i et koselig lokale med en behagelig atmosfære. Ikke minst fikk vi usedvanlig hyggelig og god service.

14/08/2024: Nous sortons de ce bar-restaurant et nous avons passé un excellent moment ! Le repas était très bon, de type brasserie montagnarde avec des assiettes copieuses. Les cocktails et la bière étaient également parfaits. Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis, avec une patronne hyper agréable et chaleureuse, comme on en voit rarement, ce qui nous a réchauffé le cœur et le ventre après une randonnée à la fraiche. Mille mercis aux personnels ! Je recommande vivement.
