26/09/2024: One of the best experiences of my life! I went there with my partner for her birthday and it was our first Michelin-starred restaurant. Verdict: an extraordinary moment! Each dish had a sublime presentation and each bite was a subtle and refined explosion of flavors! Appetizers, starters, main course, and desserts, all magnificently accompanied by wine pairings perfectly suited to each moment... in short, a treat! A big thank you to chef Matthieu Girardon for this incredible meal and also thanks to Bérengère and Axelle for this magnificent service which made the moment even more magical! Looking forward to returning there for great occasions!!!

30/08/2024: Restaurant bon mais pas exceptionnel, des accords mets vins onéreux mais pas à la hauteur de leur prix. La qualité du service laisse à désirer (on ne peut pas goûter le vin avant de déguster, couverts et services mal placés).

24/08/2024: We made a reservation last week for lunch today. We arrive this afternoon and the restaurant says closed for holiday reasons. But why did you take my reservation then!

12/09/2024: As a foreigner we were treated like everyone else and felt welcomed. The stuff and especially the waitress was very attentive. The food was tasty and an absolute recommendation.

28/09/2024: An excellent dinner in a very good atmosphere where you are not afraid to chat with your table neighbors to find out what they have chosen. The portions are generous like the chef's cuisine. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes on the menu.

19/08/2024: A shame, expensive, very bad Lyonnaise salad, yet a local specialty made with vacuum-packed salad, supermarket bacon, croutons in bags, no disgusting sauce, the same for the other dishes and, as a bonus, dirty and paperless toilets!! definitely don't go there

20/09/2024: It's only been a few hours since we were on vacation and our first stop in the city of Clermont-Ferrand will remain in our memory! A restaurant we like: kindness of the team, generosity of dishes made in Auvergne! A real French restaurant! A big thank you to Chef Seb for this tasting. 15/09/2024: We had the most wonderful evening at this restaurant. It is rare indeed that a restaurant combines service, food and a spectacular view. We had a very special dining experience. The staff was helpful, friendly and the timing of the meal service was perfect. We enjoyed a three course fixe price meal that was wonderfully prepared and elegantly presented, The wine that was suggested paired well with our food.

14/09/2024: Nous n'avions pas eu encore l'occasion de revenir au trois domes depuis son lifting. Je doit dire que c'est réussi, la déco est épuré, le service très pro sans être oppressant ,la cuisine toujours aussi maîtrisé. Nous reviendrons plus souvent.

23/08/2024: A quality experience, the search for blends and the creation of flavors will surprise you, the chef will guide you in your choices as well as the wines where we were pleasantly surprised. An address not to be kept too far away!

17/09/2024: After an extensive review of Google reviews looking for an authentic French restaurant in Lyon we chose Le Vivarais and we wasn't disappointed. It has a lovely decor that shows a bit of class. The service all the way through was attentive and informative about the food we were served. The food was every bit impressive in it's taste and presentation. Excluding wine we paid €33-35 per head for 2 courses and worth every penny.

14/09/2024: Le Vivarais is in the heart of the peninsula (Presqu'île) area, in the center of Lyon, France. I visited this restaurant for a family dinner, and it was very enjoyable. The food was fresh, very nicely presented and it was tasty. The menu is very traditional , very Lyonnais in style, with food and recipes that are local to this area. No nouvelle Cuisine here, but good value for the money, which I appreciate. The service was timely and attentive as well. At the end of our lunch, we got a quick visit from the chef, who wore the prestigious "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" distinction on his collar. While that last check did not change much, I suppose that if anything was not up to standard, it was obvious that the chef wanted to know first hand. Good practice!

02/08/2024: Great time spent on the Dandelion terrace. Delicious cheese omelette, perfectly cooked and original with the little pesto-type sauce which really balances the flavors well. The drinks are good and plentiful. Very pleasant staff, direct proximity to the Perrache train station and prices that are a little high but reasonable given the quality of the products and the service. I came at 8:30/9am and there were plenty of places available for breakfast. Shaded terrace until 9:30 a.m./10 a.m. in summer, on a quiet street. Ultimately, it is a beautiful, authentic and quiet place that I recommend for those who can afford it or who want to treat themselves to a little treat with good value for money. THANKS !

18/09/2024: Accueil sympathique et cadre chaleureux dans ce bouchon proposant un menu à 32€ à composer à partir 4 entrées, 4 plats au choix et autant de desserts. Tous les mets sont excellents et bien servis. Très bon rapport qualité prix A recommander sans réserves !

14/09/2024: J'ai fréquenté plusieurs fois ce Bouchon des Cordeliers soit pour déjeuner, soit pour diner, et j'y retourne chaque fois que l'occasion se présente à moi. C'est en effet pour moi le meilleur bouchon de la région, tant au niveau cuisine qu'ambiance et service. Au cours de ma carrière professionnelle et de ma vie privée, j'ai fréquenté des restaurants 2 et 3 étoiles, et je peux affirmer que cet établissement mérite largement les 3 diplômes qu'il a obtenus dans son domaine. ce bouchon vaut le détour, voire le voyage. Bravo au chef et à son équipe dévouée.

14/08/2024: Friendly, too bad there wasn't much left I arrived just as it closed otherwise the welcome was very good and the place is clean and harmonious, without fuss For the sandwich I liked it but I didn’t like it either 😅

26/08/2024: This was high level french classics. The Pate en Croute was excellent,as was the Lamb and Poulet. engaging service, wonderful local and history.

23/08/2024: An excellent time with my daughter yesterday, high quality products, mastered cuisine, in the literal sense of the term, intuitive service, special mention for the presentation of the Chartreuse Perfect dessert by the waitress, in short, a restaurant that I strongly recommends to lovers of authentic cuisine.

20/09/2024: Ho mangiato un manzo squisito con una salsina buona, consigliatissimo, anche se le carote di decorazione le avrei preferite cotte, non crude. Un plauso al gentilissimo Zizou, una persona solare che sprizza di felicità, gli auguro di realizzare il suo sogno.
