15/04/2026: The setting was pleasant, as was the service. We ordered à la carte (starter, main course, and dessert), the meats were cooked to perfection, very tender, and the portions were generous. They had a good wine list, and we were tempted by a very nice Morgon.

22/02/2026: We were there on a Monday at lunchtime. The food was very good. The French cheeses for dessert were excellent, served with the typical side salad. I recommend the house red wine, Côtes du Rhone. And above all, the waitress was very friendly.

24/03/2026: An iconic establishment in the Croix-Rousse district. This restaurant offers typical Lyonnais bistro fare (salad, quenelle, burger, etc.). Don't expect high quality. The aim here is to experience a rustic and authentic Lyonnaise atmosphere.

22/03/2026: Very disappointed with the service (except for the fishmonger who was lovely). The waitress was condescending, and we weren't offered dessert or coffee, even though we were very keen to have some. In short, we paid the bill and left. There are other brasseries on the boulevard that deserve better... so I'll go somewhere else next time!

24/03/2026: As an occasional customer of this neighborhood restaurant, I was very disappointed today. The wait between courses was far too long. I had to keep asking the waitress for my main course. She was deep in conversation with an Italian tourist who had just sat down next to me and completely ignored me. My dish finally arrived along with the one meant for the Italian, even though it had arrived more than half an hour after mine. She served me with an ironic, "I hadn't forgotten you." What can I say? She continued chatting with this Milanese customer, giving him a tour of Lyon, pacing back and forth while completely ignoring me. I was hoping to order dessert, but my gestures, both with my eyes and my hand, went unanswered. Disheartened, I got up to pay at the register. I didn't hesitate to express my disappointment with the service to the second waitress (who was much more charming, by the way). Le patron toujours fidèle à lui-même est bien sympathique, mais vraisemblablement ne se doute pas qu'en salle c'est une vraie cacophonie. Bref franchement même si vous n'êtes pas contraint par le temps, vous allez devoir prendre votre mal en patience. Ou alors faites-vous passer pour un transalpin, ça ira beaucoup plus vite. À bon entendeur...

05/03/2026: Without a doubt, the best couscous on the Croix-Rousse plateau, perhaps even further afield if you're traveling. Georges in the kitchen, Djam' at the front of house—you feel right at home, like you're with family. The menu offers a wide selection, sure to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. For me, it's couscous every time!
