The cassoulet is delicious, and they also have quenelles and other Lyonnais specialties. Plenty of choice, affordable prices, and a charming and very friendly owner. A place worth discovering.

21/05/2026: Straight amazing. The food you get for the price you pay is simply out of this world. I had the best meal of my life here. There was such a variety of greens and mushrooms used in my dish and the duck was amazing. I really appreciated the bread and how opinionated it was, it went well with the reduction that came with the dish You will walk out happy, and welcomed, wanting to come back again. I wish I lived in Lyon, just so I can go here more often

12/09/2026: Great restaurant with a daily lunch menu at a very reasonable price. The menu also offers a wide selection of delicious fish and meat dishes. Extensive wine list with some very affordable options. In short, it's well worth a visit!

Here, there are no gimmicks: everything is just right, precise, and profoundly delicious. You can taste the respect for the seasons, the producers, and the cooking methods. This is exactly the kind of cuisine I love: sublime ingredients, showcased with intelligence and sensitivity, without ever altering their essence. Each dish exudes authenticity and makes you want to return. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere convivial, and the entire team contributes to making this meal a truly excellent experience. 13/09/2026: Hello, the outdoor menu's prices are outdated (valid Tuesday to Saturday, but not on Saturday), the website's prices are also outdated (€29.90 on Saturday for two choices), and the menu's offerings are incomplete (e.g., "pot"). The service was poor (no cutlery with the food already cold, bottled beer served in a glass (no bottle visible), no stirrer for syrup, cold plates, only one salt and pepper shaker for the entire dining room...), and the food was bland. Don't sit near the wine cellar (refrigerator) or you'll get a knock on the door every time you order! I've been to restaurants that showed more consideration for their customers.

10/09/2026: Excellent. I used to come here when I lived in Croix-Rousse until 2014. What a pleasure to have gone back! The setting, the service, the chef and his team, and of course the food—everything was perfect. We had a wonderful meal, a fantastic time. I can't wait to go back and bring family and friends.

21/09/2026: There was a bit of a wait, given the crowds, but that's to be expected on a Sunday in Croix-Rousse... But the oyster bar was there, serving up excellent Marennes oysters and shrimp. The welcome was friendly, and even with the wait, the whole operation ran like clockwork.

24/03/2026: As an occasional customer of this neighborhood restaurant, I was very disappointed today. The wait between courses was far too long. I had to keep asking the waitress for my main course. She was deep in conversation with an Italian tourist who had just sat down next to me and completely ignored me. My dish finally arrived along with the one meant for the Italian, even though it had arrived more than half an hour after mine. She served me with an ironic, "I hadn't forgotten you." What can I say? She continued chatting with this Milanese customer, giving him a tour of Lyon, pacing back and forth while completely ignoring me. I was hoping to order dessert, but my gestures, both with my eyes and my hand, went unanswered. Disheartened, I got up to pay at the register. I didn't hesitate to express my disappointment with the service to the second waitress (who was much more charming, by the way). Le patron toujours fidèle à lui-même est bien sympathique, mais vraisemblablement ne se doute pas qu'en salle c'est une vraie cacophonie. Bref franchement même si vous n'êtes pas contraint par le temps, vous allez devoir prendre votre mal en patience. Ou alors faites-vous passer pour un transalpin, ça ira beaucoup plus vite. À bon entendeur...
