24/11/2024: This is such a buzzy place to have lunch in Cluny: There's a very comprehensive menu which should ensure everyone can find something they will like. The food is fresh, well prepared and presented, and keenly priced.
A restaurant not to be missed if you are in the area. I suggest you book if wanting a table on a market day.

However, we were very disappointed with the meal. Decent starter, very very average beef tartare, tough meat, frozen fries, chicken in cream way too salty and gratin bathed in fat.
Ice cream ok, frozen nougat without any taste.
We will not come back!

01/09/2024: Disappointed with our experience during our visit and meal today. The menu listed online did not exist on site. The waiter informed us "that they don't make frog legs", the calf's head displayed on the board at the entrance to the restaurant, not on the menu either. It started off badly. Invaded by flies...Server not gracious. Starters arrived too early -- not finished with the aperitifs. Bland snail casserole sauce requiring salt and/or pepper (not available). Overall, a big disappointment. Not ready to go back. Damage.

03/09/2024: Very good experience with our 3 children. Some people complain about the price but I found it very reasonable, very good value for money, they were truly fabulous! (Litchi, brown....!) These people should come to the Breton coasts in July/August to compare.... Very smiling owner, very commercial, very kind. I recommend!
11/08/2024: The ice creams including a great selection of sorbets were excellent - better than any we had in bigger cities during our trip. We got very big scoops. Staff were very friendly and stayed open after closing

01/08/2024: Cadre agréable au bord de la Grosne. Accueil chaleureux, personnel réactif et professionnel. Repas excellent et conseil avisé de la propriétaire pour le vin.
Des plats travaillés et délicieux. La terrasse avec sa glycine doit être agréable quand il fait moins chaud. Tout était parfait, merci.
11/06/2024: Ein ganz ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Wir hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü. Die Speisen waren großartig und wurden durch zwei Grüße des Hauses komplettiert. Vorspeise: Sülze vom Hasen, Hauptspeise: Ente, Dessert: Schokokugel gefüllt mit Eis und frischen Früchten. Auf die Kugel wurde vom Kellner dann heiße Schokolade gegossen und die Kugel schmolz und gab den Blick auf das Eis und die Früchte frei - Sensationell!
Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit Aussicht auf den kleinen Fluß durch Cluny. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Das Menü hat nur 40 Euro gekostet. Im Rheinland zahlt man für diese Qualität das doppelte.
Also: Große Empfehlung und einen Umweg wert!
