02/03/2026: A Sunday lunch with a reservation made an hour in advance for four people. Excellent traditional dishes and high-quality ingredients: the eggs meurette, the exceptional and enormous ribeye steak for meat lovers, the perfectly seasoned beef gazpacho, the perfectly dressed salads—we absolutely enjoyed ourselves in a traditional brasserie atmosphere with very good value for money. This is an address to remember and recommend when visiting Cluny. Thank you and well done to the team.

A polished facade, a reassuring name, high prices… but inside, a tired, dingy atmosphere and standard, wholesale-quality food, lacking freshness and any real homemade touch.
And while "business" customers get a 20% discount (as stated on the menu), casual diners pay full price for a service that clearly isn't worth it.
All show, no substance. Avoid it.

21/12/2025: The restaurant is listed as open on their website until 3:30 PM, but it was actually closed when we arrived for lunch. Keeping your website up to date isn't complicated! It's very unpleasant to encounter this situation.
11/10/2025: Good food but small quantities, service needs to be reviewed: waitress not very friendly, in a hurry, gives the bill without being asked on a Friday at 9:20 p.m.!!!

The property is charming.
Excellent renovation of an old 18th-century farmhouse.
The property is declared pet-friendly, and our dog was able to dine and have breakfast with us.
Free private parking.
Dog fee paid separately.

18/03/2026: Everything was perfect, honestly! The meal was perfect in terms of quality. The dishes were paired with the right wines. The place was most charming. It was one of the two best restaurants I've ever been to in my life! I recommend this restaurant!

24/11/2024: This is such a buzzy place to have lunch in Cluny: There's a very comprehensive menu which should ensure everyone can find something they will like. The food is fresh, well prepared and presented, and keenly priced.
A restaurant not to be missed if you are in the area. I suggest you book if wanting a table on a market day.

01/08/2024: Cadre agréable au bord de la Grosne. Accueil chaleureux, personnel réactif et professionnel. Repas excellent et conseil avisé de la propriétaire pour le vin.
Des plats travaillés et délicieux. La terrasse avec sa glycine doit être agréable quand il fait moins chaud. Tout était parfait, merci.
11/06/2024: Ein ganz ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Wir hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü. Die Speisen waren großartig und wurden durch zwei Grüße des Hauses komplettiert. Vorspeise: Sülze vom Hasen, Hauptspeise: Ente, Dessert: Schokokugel gefüllt mit Eis und frischen Früchten. Auf die Kugel wurde vom Kellner dann heiße Schokolade gegossen und die Kugel schmolz und gab den Blick auf das Eis und die Früchte frei - Sensationell!
Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit Aussicht auf den kleinen Fluß durch Cluny. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Das Menü hat nur 40 Euro gekostet. Im Rheinland zahlt man für diese Qualität das doppelte.
Also: Große Empfehlung und einen Umweg wert!
