05/08/2026: We had a lovely lunch at the abbey restaurant; the food was delicious and we received a very warm welcome. If you enjoy good, locally sourced food, I highly recommend stopping there during your visit to Cluny.

21/08/2026: By far the best ice cream shop in Cluny (maybe even in the whole of Saône-et-Loire!). There's a wide selection of sorbets, ideal for people who can't consume milk (I highly recommend the chocolate sorbet!). As for drinks, they're varied and offer a nice change from the usual fare. The owner is a real ray of sunshine.
17/08/2026: The ice cream is excellent, the terrace very pleasant... what makes it lose the 5th star is the 20-minute wait for one waffle...

08/08/2026: Had a dinner here - 1 faux fillet steak + 1 entrecote ( small salad + fries included ) - just drank water, but wine, bien sûr, available.
Food decent, owner ( manager ?) very courteous / efficient; young waitress a bit dozy / impatient

05/04/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel, but we dined at the Potin Gourmand restaurant, and it was delicious! From the appetizers to the desserts, we savored flavorful French cuisine. The place is peaceful and charming. We absolutely loved it!

Excellent renovation of an old 18th-century farmhouse.
The property is declared pet-friendly, and our dog was able to dine and have breakfast with us.

27/07/2026: Excellent meal; my ravioli with St. Marcellin cheese, parsley cream, and salad were delicious, as was the beef tartare (see photos). Shaded terrace, friendly welcome—by far our best meal in Cluny. It just goes to show that you often only need to walk three minutes outside the tourist center to find a quality restaurant.
26/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic, nothing to complain about. The restrooms were spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly and served us with kindness. I highly recommend it, I'll definitely be back. 👍

10/07/2026: We were very comfortable on the terrace facing Cluny Abbey. A minor drawback was the presence of flies and other flying insects (a trap was in place, but not enough).
The service was very pleasant and friendly.
It was good.

22/08/2026: A lovely little spot in the center of Cluny, very welcoming, excellent food, very professional and fast service, simple but homemade cuisine.
For your information, they accept ANCV holiday vouchers.
Thanks to the whole team, very efficient.
16/08/2026: We sat down to order at a table—two adults and three children—intending to order three pizzas, which were quite large for the five of us. When the waitress took our order, she rudely told us we had to order five dishes and gestured for us to leave. At that moment, we decided to get up and leave. When she got angry, she told us we had to pay €5 for the jug of water she had served us because now she would have to clean the table.

24/11/2024: This is such a buzzy place to have lunch in Cluny: There's a very comprehensive menu which should ensure everyone can find something they will like. The food is fresh, well prepared and presented, and keenly priced.
A restaurant not to be missed if you are in the area. I suggest you book if wanting a table on a market day.

01/08/2024: Cadre agréable au bord de la Grosne. Accueil chaleureux, personnel réactif et professionnel. Repas excellent et conseil avisé de la propriétaire pour le vin.
Des plats travaillés et délicieux. La terrasse avec sa glycine doit être agréable quand il fait moins chaud. Tout était parfait, merci.
11/06/2024: Ein ganz ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Wir hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü. Die Speisen waren großartig und wurden durch zwei Grüße des Hauses komplettiert. Vorspeise: Sülze vom Hasen, Hauptspeise: Ente, Dessert: Schokokugel gefüllt mit Eis und frischen Früchten. Auf die Kugel wurde vom Kellner dann heiße Schokolade gegossen und die Kugel schmolz und gab den Blick auf das Eis und die Früchte frei - Sensationell!
Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit Aussicht auf den kleinen Fluß durch Cluny. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Das Menü hat nur 40 Euro gekostet. Im Rheinland zahlt man für diese Qualität das doppelte.
Also: Große Empfehlung und einen Umweg wert!

30/05/2026: Stayed there for three days rooms was okay the stuff was very nice location was super so i highly recomend for the price and also for safety and for moving around trains buses taxis are all near
17/03/2026: Restaurant was really good with excellent algerian food definitely recommend.
Hotel-Room was okay definitely not 3 stars, the owner refuses to speak English on the phone and there is no other way of contacting. Avoid if you're smart!
