05/04/2024: We have been stopping at Aux Terrasses for many years.
Once again, it was a success!
Jean Michel Carrette's cuisine does not cheat and once again delighted us.
Not always easy between two seasons.
High-quality local products and a magnificently well-balanced wine list with a carefully chosen choice of winegrowers. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped.
A must-have!
03/04/2024: We took the "market menu", it was really very good, very beautiful, fine. We had a great time, with everything you would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant: succulent dishes, beautiful decoration, very beautiful handmade cutlery and plates, and meticulous service.

Staff not very smiling, lack of professionalism.
You have to ask for bread and coffee otherwise you can wait a long time.
The quality of so-called homemade dishes is not always very sophisticated.
It’s a shame that consistency isn’t there!!!
03/04/2024: A suitable stopover when driving from the south of France to the north. The parking lot opposite the hotel is fenced. The interior of the hotel gives you a hint of pomp. The room we got was clean, but it had already seen life.

21/04/2024: We had lunch as a family of 5 in this restaurant, with old walls, which offers simple and very (very) hearty cuisine. We all had the "chapeau", a sort of raclette with 2 cheeses including a "blue", poultry, pork, beef that is grilled, fried potatoes and salad.
Very pleasant moment that we shared together, enhanced with such generous desserts.
Efficient service.
17/04/2024: I took the menu for 38 euros sea salad and sea casserole + gourmet coffee the dishes are very generous and tasty I recommend this restaurant

23/03/2024: For the first day of spring, a treat to be on the terrace, with a smiling welcome, an excellent dish of the day, quality pork loin, very fresh salad, just the right vinaigrette... really honest price €17 two courses, white beer of Tournus as an accompaniment. The location faces south, the place is very quiet. at the foot of the Romanesque masterpiece of Saint Philibert!… Bravo.
17/02/2024: After hours of driving we decide to stop in a town outside the crowds of highways. There, we find a restaurant, open the door and are told with disdain: “It’s full…. » not a compassionate smile nothing.
If you are bored with your job, sir, you have to change it, but don't denigrate the customers.

12/05/2024: Ok for the price. Unfortunately, the lettuce with one of the dishes had not been washed properly. Therefore one point less. Nice terrace on the square in the center of Tournus. Too bad there is smoking on the terrace. It is allowed, but still not pleasant.

Very average service, unfortunately they lack staff.
Atmosphere: meh, crowded on small tables.
Cuisine: quick, simple, fair price. I had to ask to melt the camembert...which was supposed to be melted!
Certainly nicer for the atmosphere on the terrace in the sun.

12/05/2024: We stayed during a cycling trip in Burgundy for one night and we had the pleasure of dining in the restaurant.
The staff takes great care of their customers! From reception to departure, the charging is just perfect.
The room is large and well equipped.
Dinner was a delicious moment with traditional but refined cuisine and of course a wine list worthy of the region.
In short, a very nice establishment that we highly recommend and where we will return with great pleasure! Thank you to the whole team for this moment 👏

The room was very pretty, well equipped and quiet.
The dinner was excellent and refined. The very smiling server.
Very pleasant welcome.
The establishment has been renovated little by little and it is really pretty.
We already frequented this restaurant for its quality in the years 2004 to 2009.
Excellent stopover.

21/03/2024: At first glance the hotel seems very old and a bit gloomy. I booked a room there a bit unsure. But then the surprise. The rooms were fine, free parking right in front of the door and a restaurant with really good French cuisine at reasonable prices. We were very pleasantly surprised. A few days later we received news that one of my mother's pieces of jewelry had been left there. It was sent back to Germany very promptly. Overall a positive surprise. Perfect hotel for travelers on the way, not far from the highway. A hotel with character.
19/03/2024: Very well located hotel! The beds were very comfortable and above all the staff were lovely!
I was even kindly sent back, at no cost to me, a pair of glasses forgotten in the room!

We had the pleasure of eating at this very friendly restaurant and we must say that we were delighted with our experience.
The atmosphere was pleasant, quiet, impeccable service, nothing to complain about.
We really enjoyed our meal and wanted to highlight it. The chef's cuisine is excellent + special mention for the desserts 😎! it was wow!
Excellent value for money, it was just perfect.
So I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a high quality dining experience!
02/03/2024: The setting, the topping, the decor, the utensils are magical. The dazzling beauty of the dishes. Very very cooked dishes. The waitress, certainly not conventional but is touching and very attentive to the well-being of the customers. Very good value for money
