Warm atmosphere, pretty natural ambiance decor...and cuisine to match: original, local, fresh and cooked products, off the beaten track. Very generous and very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff.
Restaurant recommended by Voix du Nord, as part of the Hortillonnages visit, and a few steps from the Cathedral.

09/09/2024: On a leisure trip I chose the Brasserie de l'Horloge based on Google reviews and it was a good thing because I don't regret my choice.
I opted for a grilled and marinated Lebanese beef skewer: I enjoyed quality meat accompanied by grilled vegetables that had nothing to envy of it. To accompany this dish, Crozes Ermitage turned out to be a very wise choice.
Finally, I particularly appreciated the general atmosphere in which the staff, through their friendliness and efficiency, is an essential player.

02/09/2024: Installés un peu à l’étroit avec réservation nous avons pu déguster une entrecôte et bavette de très bonne qualité, sans oublier la chiffonnade de jambon pour patienter. Les accompagnements sont simples mais de bonne qualité et bien préparés. Les desserts faits maisons sont aussi très bons et copieux.
Nous n’avons pas regretté le choix de ce restaurant pour cette soirée de fin d’été. L’addition est un peu élevée mais la qualité des viandes est réelle.

13/09/2024: Very atmospheric restaurant designed with attention to detail. The dishes and menus are presented on a slate board. We enjoyed the food excellently, as did the Chablis that we drank with it. The very friendly service had a lot to do and didn't show the stress. We would like to have another colleague to support her.
An all-round successful visit to the restaurant.

14/12/2024: Table dàns un endroit sombre, on ne pouvait pas lire le menu! Table dans une salle où il y avait deux chiens, côté hygiène! …Toilettes, pas de papier hygiénique, pas de chance, il était 19h (contrôle mal fait). Déçus

15/09/2024: We were very disappointed. A dull room with no atmosphere is not welcoming the meal is very overpriced but does not live up to that standard. Poorly presented and over flavoured there was not one dish that was memorable. Certainly not Michelin Star standard!
09/09/2024: We ate at Orfevres on a Saturday at lunchtime for our wedding. The menu was simply too good, both the presentation of the dishes and the flavor, everything was magnificent. In addition, the service was really very kind in answering all our questions and expectations.

On the other hand, at the price of coffee and cappuccino, the least you can do is have real whipped cream. Or at least a cookie with the coffee 😳. It’s very light!! Why doesn't the price have it?
