05/09/2026: The plate was slammed down like a mess tin on the table, with dirty edges, the fish was bone dry and bitter, and the sauce, advertised as having tarragon, tasted nothing of it and was very runny. No spices, no seasoning whatsoever. Worse than a school cafeteria. A €5.50 drink was served without any ice. The waiter was cleaning the next table, throwing all the crumbs back at us. Avoid this place.

19/09/2026: We were very disappointed by this restaurant, which we had enjoyed many years ago. The dishes were bland and tasteless. The Picardy-style crepes were lukewarm, and the main course consisted of vegetables that were probably frozen and reheated. Only the gourmet coffee was acceptable; that says it all! In short, as far as we're concerned, this restaurant is blacklisted.

18/09/2026: Restaurant with outdated decor and atmosphere. The food was very average. The starter was a faisselle cheese, served lukewarm to cold, straight from the fridge or freezer. The main course was sole meunière. The sole wasn't fresh and had probably also come from the freezer. The side dish was bland and uninspired. The dessert was good, and the wine, a Pouilly-Fumé, was excellent. The service was quite adequate. A major disappointment, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, which seems geared towards tourists passing through.

14/08/2026: We had a very good meal. The seafood was excellent, although the mussels were sorely lacking in sauce. However, one waitress was overly familiar, another waiter served us with a bloody finger, and the dessert (waffle) was quite poor.

02/09/2026: After booking online for six people, we arrived at 8:00 PM sharp to find no reservation on site and the staff's welcome was poor. They explained that the system never worked. Yet, we had a recommendation from the owner, Christophe, whom we had met that afternoon and who was even supposed to offer us three aperitifs. He had just left... I do not recommend it. On the other hand, we received an excellent welcome at La Ferté, which, without a reservation, was fantastic and completely unaware of our mishap. The owner and staff were particularly friendly. Excellent value for money.

13/09/2026: I arrived with my family; there were 13 of us. Inside, it was unbearably hot, even though the restaurant was practically empty. However, I noticed that the terrace at the back was quite full. I asked the waitress if it was possible to eat on the terrace. She asked me to wait outside, which we did politely for 15 to 20 minutes, as instructed. She then came back to tell us that it wouldn't be possible outside after all, and that we would have to eat inside, despite the temperature being around 38°C (100°F) and the lack of air conditioning. A few minutes later, I saw several seats become available on the terrace. Knowing that there were many of us, I simply asked if it would be possible to sit at two or three tables. The answer was: "No, that won't be possible," without any explanation. I insisted, but I finally gave up. I don't like to accuse an establishment of discrimination lightly, but honestly, the treatment we received left me with that feeling. We were the only Asian customers in the restaurant and felt deliberately isolated and treated worse than the other patrons. So we went back inside. We then waited almost 30 minutes for a server to take our order… and no one ever came. In total: almost an hour wasted in sweltering heat, with real difficulty breathing because it was so hot. And all this while there were 13 of us ready to order. An absolutely appalling lack of consideration and professionalism. The problem isn't just the organization; it's primarily the way we were treated. I sincerely advise you to avoid this establishment, especially if you are a group of foreign customers. Our experience was extremely bad, and we will definitely never set foot in there again. Avoid at all costs.
