This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have stayed at near CDG Airport. I regularly transit through Paris and have stayed at several nearby hotels, but this experience was unacceptable.
The most disappointing part was the treatment my mother and I received from the reception staff. From the moment we arrived, we were met with cold, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior. The receptionist barely acknowledged us, answered our questions with obvious irritation, and acted as though she did not want to help us. What made this even more upsetting was watching her immediately become warm, friendly, and welcoming when interacting with French and white guests. The contrast in treatment was striking and made us feel genuinely discriminated against.
The room was average at best, the elevator was unreliable, and there was no luggage assistance.
The restaurant was equally disappointing. The buffet food was not labeled, making it difficult for guests to know what they were eating. When we asked staff for clarification, we were met with unfriendly looks and an attitude that made us feel like we were were bothering them.
As travelers, we expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect regardless of our nationality or skin color. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. Whether intentional or not, the difference in how we were treated compared with other guests was impossible to ignore.
I will also be filing a formal complaint regarding the receptionist who checked us in, as her behavior fell well below the standards expected in the hospitality industry.
I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you expect to be treated with professionalism, respect, and equality.
29/06/2026: Hotel is terrible, plug don’t work in room, don’t cater for children at the restaurant, family of 5 separated into different rooms, hotel staff were rude, tv doesn’t work. We had a total of 4 rooms and maybe one plug socked worked. We were told they were to just to cater for our children.

30/12/2025: Dinner on December 20, 2025. The welcome and service were excellent. The decor alone is an invitation to escape, with a special mention for the restrooms. The cuisine is inspired by travels, featuring flavors and aromas from outside France, but also distinctly French ingredients in a surprising and delicious contrast. Four of us at the table on a Saturday night, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Lovers of classic cuisine: look elsewhere. Lovers of surprises, come on in, you won't be disappointed. For those who consider this restaurant mediocre, go to McDonald's and expect to be treated like you are.

If you’re looking for authentic, comforting French food, Brasserie Le Village is a must-visit.
The Snails: Rich, perfectly seasoned, and delicious.
Onion Soup: Deeply savory, comforting, and packed with flavor.
Great atmosphere and wonderful food. Highly recommended!

30/06/2026: It’s a nice hotel located less than 20 minutes away from CDG airport. There is a mini kitchenette with stove top and the rooms are air conditioned, although the system is weak and makes the room extremely humid at night. Downsides are that the staff didn’t seem as friendly and the hotel is over 2+ hours out from Central Paris if you plan on taking public transportation to go sightseeing and explore the city. A mall is close nearby and it is located in a very quiet area great for sleep and relaxing. Overall, it’s worth a stay if you are seeking a budget friendly, clean and comfortable hotel for your stay that you don’t mind is further out from Central Paris.
01/06/2026: Stayed for two nights.
Refrigerator available. Even a kitchen set.
Breakfast was adequate.

24/07/2026: Check in at Cathay Pacific was hours late due to a computer glitch in their system
They offered apologies but nothing else
This created extra stress going through security and border control which also had long queues
This time stated on the Paris Airport app for processing through security were woefully inaccurate - the security check process had waiting time of over 1 hour in the queue - the app said 4 minutes!
24/07/2026: I arrived from England at Charles De Gaulle. Everything went smoothly and I was able to get something to eat straight out of arrivals. The taxi drivers were a little pushy.

11/07/2026: Terrible! Open at 5 pm, but you're rudely turned away and can't get in until 6 pm! They don't even let you have a drink while you wait. Avoid this place!

Its Old Styled, UnComfortable Washrooms with Small Towels. Non working AC in Lobby. OMG ! Ruined Experience In Paris. Its So Long from Airport & Takes 40-50 Euros & Sometimes even 1 Hr plus due to traffic. U will mizz Illumination of Eiffil Tower if u stay there.....

05/07/2026: Air conditioner did not work in the room when I checked in during the evening. The front desk said they couldn't send someone to look at it until the next day and said they didn't have any other rooms to offer. The next day when I returned very late in the evening, I found they had not done anything. The front desk said they couldn't send someone until the next day - again! They finally offered me another room. After I unpacked in my new room and went into it's bathroom, I discovered a horrible sewer smell was backing up into the bathroom's drains. Escalated to the front desk. Again - they said they couldn't do anything about it and they did not have any other rooms to offer. They finally agreed to send someone to the room who simply sprayed disinfectant into the drains. They said they would send someone the next day to resolve the issue or would offer me another room. The bathroom smell was terrible the next morning. I reminded the front desk of the issue the next morning. The associate assured me they would have a new room ready when I returned late that evening. When I returned that evening, the front desk associate said they didn't know anything about my issue and did not have any more rooms available. After I escalated to another associate, they were suddenly able to find me a new room. As I unpacked in my third room around midnight and pulled back the bed spread, I discovered the bed was missing a bed sheet. I again notified the front desk. The associate handed me a bed sheet and said I'd need to add it to the bed.
On two different occasions I asked to speak to a manager. I was told both times a manager was not available to speak to.
I had a pretty bad experience at this hotel. I would highly recommend you avoid this hotel.
28/05/2026: Sorry but selling rooms that they know have faulty aircondition is not good enough. Had to get a refund as it was over 30 degrees in the room.

21/07/2024: Waste of money. The only reviews above 3 seem to be from years ago.
I started off with offering a 3 but have now gone down to 2. Yes, it was that bad. Not sure how they claim they are ‘fresh’ or ‘upscale’ when I ordered the tomato Burrata salad because I didn’t want anything too greasy. A plate full of tomatoes came out with cheese in the middle. Looking forward to something fresh, I soon discovered that the tomatoes were clearly soggy and old and could be flattened with a fork easily. Now, if this was an inexpensive meal, one would think you get what you pay for, but it over €20 for a salad, it shouldn’t be too hard to ask for fresh tomatoes that were potentially purchased on the day. Especially because there is literally a supermarket that you can walk to 100 m away from this place. Nevertheless, I ate one slice of tomato. The baguette that it came with saved me. The baguette gets three stars.
It was so bad that, even though I usually don’t ask to ever see a manager, I thought the feedback would be worthwhile. The manager proceeded to tell me that it is a special type of tomato, namely the pineapple tomato and that it is naturally very soft and squishy. After two months of travel in Italy and France, I have literally never heard of this. Nor tasted anything this old and soft. So, I did a quick Google and, contrary to the managers description, the pineapple tomato is not supposed to be that at all. Please see the photo with the Google description. It’s meant to be firm. Anyway, just when I thought that finally we are getting somewhere, she told us not to worry and that she will take care of the item on the bill. She took six dollars off.
I am not sure what was worse, being lied to about a tomato, getting a quarter of that one plate off our meal bill or knowing that I had a baguette for dinner and that that was the saving grace. So unprofessional.
08/05/2024: Nous avons commandé deux assiettes de tagliatelles aux gambas avec un beurre d'algues, au prix de 36 euros chacune.
Nous avons également demandé qu'une assiette soit préparée sans beurre d'algues en raison d'une intolérance au lactose.
À l'arrivée des plats, la serveuse semblait ignorer lequel des deux plats avait été modifié, car les deux ont été servis sans beurre d'algues. Les pâtes étaient bien trop cuites, les portions étaient insuffisantes, ressemblant plus à des portions pour enfants. De plus, chaque assiette ne contenait qu'une seule gambas, ce qui est inacceptable compte tenu du prix. Nous aurions certainement mieux mangé dans un Mac do.
