13/05/2024: Came with a very large family group. The food is very good, the location is ideal and the parasols protect from the sun if it is too strong. I was able to have a plate with sauce on the side following my request due to a low-salt diet.

22/10/2023: Very nice hotel with a great restaurant. The dishes are delicious and refined. Small downside for the spa, which is in a small room, customers pass through one after the other without the floor being at least scraped. Rather average impression. Otherwise the rest was great

07/09/2023: Nous avions réservés une nuit via un site. A notre arrivée une personne nous accueille nous disant que le jacuzzi était en panne avec pour réponse « les aléas du métier » avec aucune excuse et pas de geste commerciale. La chambre n’était pas nickel, cheveux dans la douche. La petite perle n’ayant pas dîner le soir au restaurant de l’hôtel, j’ai eu la réflexion le lendemain par le gérant « ah vous n’avez pas mangé au restaurant ». J’ai réglé la note ni un merci ni au revoir. Dommage… ayant fait beaucoup de 4 et 5 étoiles, cela ne mérite pas le prix des soi-disant prestations… je ne recommande pas.

02/05/2024: Okay amending my review. Why? One reason. Christoph! We are dpearting this morning and having a coffee, and have been greeted by Christoph for the first time. He is amazing! What a true joy! Interesting place. Service was average, as staff not the most welcoming people we have ever met. Perhaps a bit of front of house training on how to smile and be welcoming would be a reasonable investment of time - especially being the hospitality industry. We booked a standard double room which was okay, but only a view of a stone wall and the road on the other side, and the standard doubles rooms are very small. Amenities very average, such as no milk for coffee or tea - and no explanation of how to get basic refreshments from the hotel lobby other than if you booked in for a meal. Maybe can buy a beer or a glass of wine, but who knows? Last but not least another couple staying here had a small dog which they brought in the dining room. The dog attacked me while I went to have breakfast, and then later attacked a bit my wife when she was walking in the courtyard (dog not on leash). Can't really blame the hotel - but the setup totally wrong to be a dog friendly place, especially with dogs that are not trained. We own a dog and LOVE dogs, but the hotel really needs to sort out a basic policy to prevent their guests from being attacked.

27/04/2024: The “Romantic Welcome” option has not been taken into account. Extremely damaging, it was a surprise for one year of living together. The compensation offered was not commensurate with the moral damage. 1 glass of not very good champagne, 1 very bad mojito (no sparkling water, dried mint and lemon, I have never had such a poorly prepared mojito), and only a word of apology from the management with 2 small nougats and 4 small chocolates). Breakfasts could have been offered....but this was not accepted.

01/04/2024: Very friendly little restaurant with a very pleasant welcome... The dishes were delicious with a special mention for the Chef's salad... a delight!!

28/03/2024: Amazing restaurant: we were expecting fresh produce (menu on slate outside) and they brought us the menus on a laminated card...all the dishes are 18 euros...any kitchen...the waitress doesn't not dressed appropriately

06/03/2024: Nice lunch in this shop/restaurant with, when the weather is nice, tables in the garden. Simple and nutritious, nicely prepared, served quickly by the owner and affordable.

27/02/2024: Very good value for money. Open in February which is not common in this tourist region. Original place: we had lunch in the decoration/souvenir store.
