07/08/2026: From the moment you step inside, you feel like you're being welcomed into this townhouse, like a Sunday lunch in the countryside! The setting and staff are wonderful.
The food is good and served quickly. The most surprising thing is the excellent wine, served in unlimited quantities. Just like being with family, I tell you! 😀 For a chic yet unpretentious meal. 👍

We were invited to this small restaurant yesterday at lunchtime to celebrate the wedding of two people we love very much. We were seated in a lovely, very comfortable setting. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. We were taken care of by a very friendly and energetic waitress (who had already welcomed us for a coffee before we headed to the town hall). The young chef joined us at the end of the meal and deserves our utmost congratulations for all the delicious flavors! We will definitely return just to relive this wonderful moment, even though we live far from Louveciennes!
30/05/2026: We were looking for a café/restaurant in Louveciennes for a quick lunch with a colleague and chose the Café de la Mairie quite by chance. Nevertheless, we loved our short visit! A lovely waitress, quick and efficient service, and above all, a truly delicious starter and main course (avocado and shrimp salad and beef tartare). A big thank you! We'll definitely be back!

08/09/2026: Frankly disappointed. No salt or pepper on the table. The waiter wasn't pleasant. We asked him to bring us more aperitifs because we arrived late, he said yes but never brought them. At the end, we just asked for a small digestif as a gesture of goodwill, but he refused, especially since we were at the cinema. We didn't receive the five euro discount per person. Frankly dishonest, never again.
08/09/2026: My wife and I came for dinner this evening and ordered two of the "Coup de Cœur" menus.
I especially wanted to highlight Yoan's professionalism. His attitude, the way he welcomed us, and his attentiveness to our table throughout the meal truly made all the difference.
It's quite rare and worth mentioning: thanks to him, we genuinely felt like we were being served in a real restaurant, with attentive, professional, and personal service.
In a chain like Hippopotamus, where you might sometimes expect a more standardized service, having someone so dedicated completely transforms the experience.
Thank you to Yoan for his professionalism and positive attitude. It's definitely the kind of service that makes you want to come back.

09/09/2024: Une expérience ou plutot une non expérience desolante
On a réservé une table à 21h30 vendredi soir pour inviter un couple d'amis de passage à paris
Arrivés au restaurant avec 5 à 10 mn de retard, on a attendu à l accueil
Au bout de qq mn on a avancé à l intérieur du restaurant vers le bar, un premier serveur de passage nous voit et nous dit on s'occupe de vous, une deuxième serveuse passe devant nous et nous dit on s'occupe de vous, qq mn plus tard une dame vient vers nous et nous dit: la cuisine est fermée d'un ton sec et non chalant il était à ce moment là 21h 45!
Aucun mot d'excuse, aucune tentative de trouver une solution le ton était donné il fallait être à l heure!! pour reprendre ses propos
S'dresser de la sorte à des clients est indigne et irrespectueux envers la profession
