13/03/2024: Frankly, I'm used to giving restaurants good marks but this is no longer possible. I can't understand how there are still customers in this restaurant! The mussels are unlimited but of very low quality and the price is not cheap! The Roquefort sauce was simply cream. I strongly recommend this place! As you can see the boss is not at all professional in the answers on Google :)

However, when it was time to pay, the waiter told us in a very insulting and derogatory manner that they did not accept them. If the waiter had explained properly we would have understood, but the way he spoke to us was very insulting and denigrating. This is a restaurant to avoid because of the way they treat their customers.
02/04/2024: We visit Paris 1-2 times a year. We always go to this chain establishment. We always take mussels. There are no questions about the quality of the prepared dishes, they are always delicious. But the service has gotten worse. The waiter mixed up the draft wine we ordered, instead of 460 ml, he brought 230 ml. When we pointed this out to him, he said that it’s okay, the first decanter will run out, I’ll bring you more, but the cost of a large decanter is less than 2 small ones. How is that? Okay, we drank 1 carafe, ate all the mussels, ordered dessert, and then he suddenly brings a second carafe of wine! For what? Where were you when we were still eating and we had already run out of wine? We refused the second decanter. The plus, or rather minus, is that the waiter should have automatically brought a large bottle of draft water, but he didn’t bring it or offer it. We didn't leave a tip. We had dinner in the evening at 21:00. For dinner we paid 46.80€.

01/04/2024: Hello, I would like to share my opinion because at the time this was not systematic so as I wanted mussels and fries I looked at the opinions on this restaurant, since the name has changed! I realize that the service and the incompetence of the staff is always the same. We entered the restaurant and we remained waiting for well over a quarter of an hour in front of the cash register which is right in front of the door before a waitress put us at a table, at the time my first daughter was in a stroller and it seemed to annoy the waitress because she didn't know where to put the stroller for us because the tables were quite close, the meal was served very slowly and we stayed for more than an hour and a half waiting for the goodwill of the waiters because in the meantime our waitress left at the end of her shift and no one else was there. came to replace it we had to ask for the service to continue at our table and finally the fries that we asked for again arrived (which arrived cold) After the meal I was brought back the bill even though I had not asked for anything and then I asked for a dessert to teach them good manners, after bringing me the dessert they also brought me the bill again and there I asked for a coffee once again to teach them good manners because the bill is only brought back to the customer when the customer requests it! So after all these disappointments we left, we paid and not even a word of apology or goodbye at all!! I was furious, I yelled at the staff who were present, telling them that I would never set foot in this restaurant again.

02/04/2024: We ate in this restaurant during a stopover in Sète. On the surface, everything seemed okay. We first ordered a dish written on the menu, which was in fact wrong since this dish did not exist. Errors happen especially with crowds. However, we waited more than 35 minutes for our dishes, namely mussels and a salad. Apparently complicated in half an hour to make a salad with four pieces of tomatoes and goat cheese... Our guests who arrived about 30 minutes later received their order in 5 minutes flat. The mussels were very small, the fries lukewarm and the service unwelcoming, apart from a few servers. We also found a bone in the salad, which does not contain any fish... Anyway, I understand the crowds due to the event. However, this makes a lot of mistakes.
01/04/2024: Warm welcome Excellent meal on the evening of April 1st Sète specialty. Competent staff on duty. I come once a year and always good. Beautiful plates. The flavor is there. To discover.

I had dinner last night and the quantity of mussels, shrimp, rice, squid is significantly less than before, the manager tells me that it is is the same it's false so maybe it's a neighborhood where there are a lot of tourists where you can talk anything with them but with me it doesn't work I won't set foot again I'll see if in the others Léon de Paris where there are fewer tourists if it's the same on the other hand a special mention to Fatima whom I have known for a long time who is very kind I wish her all the happiness possible There's no point in replying to me saying it's the same quantities as before because it's FALSE and don't give me an address to write to you I didn't like the manager last night, it's better with Khaled and before that there was Habib who no longer works at Léon FAREWELL Léon St Germain _-__-------------------- It's nonsense your answer I didn't talk about the reception it's the insufficient quantity by contribution before and in the kitchen they received orders to put less I explained well in my opinion if you do not understand French well have someone else read it FAREWELL
02/04/2024: I don't like doing this but this restaurant made me do it. Half of the molds are empty, very disappointed €15 thrown in the trash! Fried portions as small as a mussel are definitely not to be tempted.

31/03/2024: Tender but not very hot meat with frozen fries and salad straight from the bag... the ice creams are tasteless. Served in 1 minute so certainly everything ready in advance despite the lack of crowds (5 tables) Impossible to have the daily special alone, we pay for dessert anyway!

04/04/2024: Regulars of the place but absent for a long time we rediscovered Tonton Louis. Rejuvenation of the room and the buffet... The welcome is perfect. For the buffet everything is fresh.....but a little too cold. Slightly overcooked langoustines and spider crabs should be drained Otherwise everything is fine, restaurant recommended. We will come back to this.

04/04/2024: Surprised..the manager accepts customers until 9:30 p.m. but they have to leave at 9:40 p.m. 😂 the kitchens close OK but the service staff must leave too..I have rarely seen this principle in these restaurant chains..well, meal quick but not bad that's already it (we had a move that day) maybe one day we'll go back there but really in troubleshooting

17/03/2024: I brought my family for a dinner at La Rotonde restaurant and it became the worst experience we have ever had in a fine dining restaurant. And this is all because of the manager of the restaurant. First of all I would like to say other than him, all other staffs were excellent and provided mostly impeccable service. However the guy in the grey suit whom I presume is the manager, he forgot he is in the service line. The entire night he treated us like second class citizens who are undeserving of his attention. He would glare at us, roll eyes at us and treated us with contempt. When we called for him when he walked pass as we wanted to order drinks, he would blatantly ignore us. The only time he came to the table is to serve us bread and he THREW the bread basket on the table. When I called for the bill, he ignored me once again and just walked past infront of me even when I had my hand raised and said “sorry, excuse me”. After paying, when I went to collect my coat, he was the only one standing at the coat station. When he saw me coming, he pretended to look down and be busy. Pretended not to hear or notice me so I walked to the coat rack and got my own coat. He didn’t say a word or acknowledge me when I baded him goodbye when leaving with my family. This is the most horrendous experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I don’t think we deserve this kind of treatment just because we are Asians.
