Le Cenacle
Tremblay-En-France
01/07/2026: Very mixed feelings. Not a fine dining restaurant, the label doesn't apply, but a good restaurant.
I'll try to be neutral and precise. We had a reservation at 12:00 PM, but the owner opened at 12:02 PM, dressed in... not chef's attire, and told us, "It's already noon, so sit over there," pointing to a table. We sat down alone.
In a fine dining restaurant, you "offer" a table, you don't "seat" someone. I'm not a commodity, and you escort them to your table. The welcome was already a failure... You can tolerate that in a bistro, but not in a fine dining establishment.
We were seated at 12:02 PM and received the menu at 12:25 PM. The wait was long... and there were only three of us in the dining room. In a fine dining restaurant, you receive attentive service, especially when there are few customers overall. I'd like to remind you that the dishes are around €50, cocktails €18, etc. So I asked for cocktails, and the first one was explained to me. Since I didn't like ginger, they told me there was a champagne option. I took that one without really knowing what I was ordering, and there was no menu or price list.
The same thing happened with the water. They offered still or sparkling water, I asked for still, but I didn't see a menu. They brought me a bottle, which I discovered was charged €8.
The first part of the meal was another disappointment.
In a fine dining establishment, you're guided, advised, and offered advice. Here, there was nothing.
The decor is catastrophic. You'll see in the photos that the dining room is not worthy of a fine dining establishment. The menus are damaged, there are grease stains, and there are ice-cold water bottles as air coolers at the entrance. There's no proper air conditioning. Everything is old and worn. Again, if this were a bistro, we could forgive it, but not in an establishment that claims to be gastronomic and therefore must showcase French excellence. Imagine a foreigner having this as their perception of a fine dining restaurant.
Then comes what will elevate the meal... the food. Very good, very well cooked, the chef comes to explain the dishes. Finally... what we expect from a fine dining restaurant. Phew.
And then things go downhill. The chef comes to talk about football on the phone at 12:56 pm next to the table while carving the ham. He talks about Bayern Munich, etc. In a fine dining restaurant, the staff isn't on the phone next to our table; they can do that elsewhere. The waitress, who is practically absent throughout the meal, leaves the water bottle empty and the bread basket empty on the table. Even in basic restaurants, the bread baskets are refilled, and as soon as an empty bottle is empty, it's cleared away, and they offer to refill it if you want. Here, nothing. She often disappears, for long periods... leaving the dining room empty even though there are six of us. Is she going to cook? A bistro is acceptable; fine dining is a red card.
I ask for the bill at 2:16 PM, and at 2:32 PM I follow up. I remind her that there are only six of us in total... I try to explain to the chef what's wrong, and he tells me it's the owner who doesn't want to do any renovations, etc. In short, he doesn't listen to anything... I want to say, at over €200 for a meal for two, is that our problem? We pay for quality (an air-conditioned place with clean, untorn menus, a warm welcome, an experience, in short...). Otherwise, you need to lower your prices and what you serve to be more in line with what you offer the customer and the price. It sounds fancy to call yourself a gourmet restaurant, but you have to live up to the hype. Being a good bistro, inn, etc., is already quite sufficient.
The 50% discount with TheFork is barely acceptable, but without it, the quality of service is unacceptable.
01/07/2026: We booked a surprise 8-course tasting menu through Groupon.
We reserved the 7 pm slot, but when we arrived, we noticed the sign said the opening time was 7:30 pm... We waited until 8 pm hoping the restaurant would open, but it never did.
Another couple was also there, waiting for the restaurant to open. We received no call from the restaurant to say it was closed or anything.

La Criee
Rosny-Sous-Bois
09/06/2026: We were very disappointed with our meal at La Criée in Rosny-sous-Bois.
From the very first bite, the tone was set. I ordered garlic shrimp and received the equivalent of two shrimp, chopped into small pieces, accompanied by a few cherry tomatoes and a little salad. A very meager starter, especially considering the price.
For the main course, the tuna steak fell far short of our expectations. The accompanying rice was bland, served without any presentation, like in a cafeteria. As for the fries, they were clearly frozen and completely unappealing.
The service was extremely slow throughout the meal. The mojitos were a failure, and we even had to ask for them to be remade. Unfortunately, the result was still unsatisfactory.
There were seven of us, which resulted in a rather hefty bill. Unfortunately, the value for money was very disappointing. For the price we paid, we expected better quality ingredients, more elegant presentation, and more efficient service.
This experience was disappointing. We will not be returning and will not recommend this establishment.
Thank you for your feedback.
However, I would like to clarify one point: contrary to what you stated in your response, no change of dish was offered.
When my dish was served, I pointed out to the server that the presentation was very disappointing. The plate, consisting of fish with rice simply placed on the plate, looked more like a cafeteria meal than a dish served in a restaurant. There was no emphasis or careful presentation.
As for the tuna steak, the slices were very small and had a strong burnt taste, which greatly diminished our enjoyment of the meal.
I acknowledge that the mojitos were replaced and that our table was checked by other servers. However, this doesn't change our overall impression. There were seven of us, the bill was quite high, and unfortunately, the quality of the food served didn't live up to our expectations.
Sincerely, Louise
07/06/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, with a long wait before we were served. The rice was dry and clearly lacked freshness and flavor. The fish also fell short of our expectations. Overall, the value for money was poor. We were hoping to have a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We will not be returning and do not recommend this establishment.

Léon De Bruxelles
Rosny-Sous-Bois
16/06/2026: Today, June 16th, at LEON ROSNY during lunch service, the waiter (a thin man wearing glasses) was unpleasant from the beginning to the end of the meal. My partner ordered salmon with rice and fries. The salmon was very small; there weren't even two spoonfuls of rice. We mentioned this, and he haughtily replied that the weight was indicated on the menu. When it came time for dessert, the menu was handed to us, and we checked that the weight was listed, and of course, it wasn't. At the register, we pointed out to the waiter that his information was incorrect, meaning that the weight wasn't on the menu. He then arrogantly and irritably asked us if we wanted to see the chef's menu. He came back from the kitchen and tossed the card reader to his colleague, saying, "Here, because I don't have time."
Value for money: 0. Many thanks to the waitress who was more understanding.
16/06/2026: A mixed experience at Léon de Rosny. It started off well with a rather lukewarm welcome, no smiles, just a curt "hello, how many people are there, and sit here." We waited quite a while for our food. And twice, I was brought the wrong dish (no big deal). The staff is rushed; you can tell they're short-staffed.

L'Etoile D'or
Les Pavillons-Sous-Bois
13/02/2026: We booked this restaurant for 40 people in July 2025 for January 2026. We haven't heard anything from them, even though we paid a €400 deposit. The restaurant is closed, so we had to find a plan B four days before reopening. Avoid them if they do reopen because they still owe us our €400 and they don't answer the phone.
06/02/2026: We booked at the end of the year for a birthday celebration. We paid €400 in advance. At no point were we informed of the establishment's closure. It's impossible to get a refund. No one answers. Avoid this place; don't trust these thieves.

Caviar house et Prunier SEA FOOD
Tremblay-En-France
11/03/2026: I’m very disappointed with my experience here. After I spoke in English, the staff’s attitude felt noticeably less welcoming. I was not given a menu, while other customers around me were offered one.
When I placed my order, the staff member repeated it very loudly in a way that felt uncomfortable. In addition, I was never provided with utensils. While it was still possible to eat the baguette without them, it was quite inconvenient to have a salad without any utensils at all.
The only time I noticed a friendly attitude was during payment when my credit card was taken. Overall, the service left me feeling unwelcome, and unfortunately this experience makes it difficult for me to consider returning.
