27/09/2026: ⚠️ An absolute disaster: avoid this restaurant! (Rating: 1/5) As regulars of the La Criée chain, we tried the Chambourcy location and it was a huge disappointment from start to finish.
• The welcome and the setting: The welcome was incredibly cold. No display of fresh shellfish, just posters. The dining room was utterly depressing, cold, with no tablecloths, just simple wooden tables. Even worse, we were seated facing a staircase with a direct view of a dirty laundry basket... It felt like a laundromat, not a restaurant! The owner, completely indifferent, paced back and forth without paying any attention to the customers.
• The starter: A pan of "shrimp" with garlic that was garlic in name only. It was a langoustine cut into pieces, swimming in oil and herbs (no garlic flavor whatsoever), hidden under salad and balsamic vinegar to mask its poor quality. The bread was stale.
• The dishes: The pots of mussels (cream and white wine) were filled with nothing but water. When we pointed this out, the waitress told us we "needed to stir." My husband insisted on fixing the sauce, and they brought him a jar of salad dressing that was completely unsuitable... The fries were hard, dry, and clearly not fresh.
• The verdict: Only the waitress was friendly (she deserves 2/10 of our bill). To top it all off, my husband and I were sick all night (food poisoning). Hygiene and freshness are seriously questionable. We will never set foot in this place again. An establishment to absolutely avoid.
26/09/2026: We ate very well; the portions were generous and the food was delicious!
However, I found the service unwelcoming and rather unpleasant, which made the experience less enjoyable and pleasant. It's a shame because the food is good.

13/08/2026: I wasn't familiar with the old restaurant, but this new concept came at just the right time for me.
A magnificent setting, impeccable service—thank you, Pauline, for your kindness and attentiveness—and the buffet, entirely suggested by L'Orangerie and which I wholeheartedly approved, was a true delight. Everything was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert. Congratulations to the Chef for this wonderful success. A sentiment shared by all the guests.
And finally, a huge thank you to Guillaume for accepting despite the last-minute arrangements.

02/07/2026: My wife and I went there for our wedding anniversary because we love octopus. We weren't disappointed; the octopus and squid were cooked to perfection, served in generous portions, and reasonably priced. The rum baba lives up to its reputation—it's simply the best we've ever had, and it's enormous. The service was impeccable, and thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert. We have a great spot for octopus near our home, and that's a sure sign we'll be back very soon!
01/06/2026: The service was a bit slow, but the meal was delicious for Mother's Day. The table wasn't great, being next to the cutlery on the ground floor.
A shame...

03/09/2026: A very nice wine bar. Good selection of wines accompanied by excellent sausages or cheeses. You're served at the bar, not at a table, but the bartender is remarkably efficient and always smiling. Perfect for a pleasant, relaxed time.
24/08/2026: Visited on Aug 22nd. Asked the waiter for a recommendation and he served. Thanks a lot.

16/09/2026: I eat at Léon de Bruxelles Buchelay several times a week and always receive a fantastic welcome from the team, from the managers to the servers.
It's quick, tasty, and excellent value for money.
And a huge thank you to Abdoul, who manages everything.
14/09/2026: Back again this September, we found a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The waiter was absolutely lovely.
Ramdane takes excellent care of his customers.
We asked to take our time for this birthday meal.
Everything met our expectations.
The mussels were piping hot. They were served at the end of our shared platter.
Just one thing: last year there was an extra dessert offered.
An XXL apricot mille-feuille.
A pure delight.
It's a shame there wasn't anything like it this time. Something to consider adding to the menu 😏

16/10/2025: Fantastic! We were passing through Plaisir and took the opportunity to eat at La Criée.
It was absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly and attentive.
If we're ever back in Plaisir, we'll definitely return.

26/10/2024: Je ne comprends pas vraiment les précédents commentaires défavorables. J'y déjeune régulièrement en semaine peut-être est-ce différent le soir ou le week-end.
Cadre original. Service rapide et plats copieux pour 1 prix tout à fait raisonnable.
26/10/2024: nous nous sommes arretes jeudi 24 octobre midi avec une amie et avons ete tres decus .vous devez trier les avis.a la fin du repas mediocre pour le prix nous avons eu la visite d un rat qui se baladait dans la salle du restaurant et l avons signale a la serveuse qui n a eu l air etonne ce restaurant est a fuir et je vais le signaler au service d hygiene

11/07/2024: Il y a quelques années, nous avions commandé des moules marinières puisque Léon de Bruxelles se pique d'être le roi des moules : elles étaient insipides et nous avions déclaré que nous ne mettrions pas les pieds dans ce restaurant où les cuisiniers semblent avoir pêu de métier. Sauf hier, pour vérifier la bonne évolution du restaurant puisque quelqu'un nous avait assuré que "c'était très bien". Eh bien, voici notre opinion :
Le spritz au périer et Limoncello (8,50 €) était correct et la bière 1664 servie à la bonne température. Evidemment, sans cacahouètes ou olives (on est proche du pays des oliviers). Et nous avons attendu 40 minutes, comme les deux femmes à la table voisine, pour être servis, d'un pavé de saumon (18,50 €) convenable mais sa purée était très médiocre en quantité et qualité. Mon crispy fish (18, 50 €) - 3 morceaux d'aiglefin passés à la friture - accompagnés d'une rondelle de citron, était sec. Léon de Bruxelles, apprenez à vos cuistots à faire une sauce !.. Les frites - dans un très petit cornet, l'équivalent d'une pomme de terre -, avaient été passées à la machine sans qu'on enlève les yeux, les parties moisies ou tâchées ! Même celles de Mac Cain sont plus présentables ! Le thé gourman était correct mais la gauffre - ceretes, pas de Liège ! - préparée sans oeufs, sans lait, apparemment à l'eau : le goût d'une éponge ! Ma coupe Tiramisu était belle et bonne. Nos desserts ont sauvé le repas mais on ne va pas dans un restaurant pour les desserts seulement, n'est-ce pas ?
Quant au personnel, manifestementil est là, non par vocation, mais pour gagner ... sa survie. Un bon point quand même pour la serveuse qui nous a proposé un petit pain. Quant à son collègue masculin il a eu bien du mal avec le couple voisin dont l'homme a fait rapporter en cuisine par deux fois, sa marmite de moules, se plaignant de ne pas y trouver certains ingrédients qu'il avait consignés dans son portable. Eux-aussi avaient trouvé le temps bien long !
Notre note s'est élevée à 66, 80 €, c'est bien cher pour un déjeuner aussi médiocre.
06/05/2024: ich bin seit vielen jahren kunde da und mit jedem jahr hat die qualität abgenommen. aktuell gibts fast alles außer moulles … und die sind nicht das metroticket wert. burgerking oder ein gyros auf die hand ist in jeden fall vorzuziehen. schade sehr schade ist wohl mein letzter besuch .. nach fast zwanzig jahren
