22/09/2024: Great gastro menu, dishes and wines matched between the starter, the main course, the cheese, but the dessert is not Gascon at all, too many profiteroles which spoil the whole meal. Otherwise top notch welcome as well as service.

27/08/2024: Excellent food, Niquel service, the waiter Steven was very pleasant and very kind, excellent butcher's piece. I recommend and I will come back!!

27/08/2024: Excellent community cinema, the rooms are beautiful and the seats comfortable! You can also sit down for a drink or eat at the cinema bistro in a very pleasant setting!

23/09/2024: Historical hotel, we really liked it, but it's certainly not for everyone as the rooms are very uniquely designed. Room number 3 was definitely original, with a bed on steps,... The food was a dream, the service was very pleasant and friendly, sometimes a little delayed. As I said - not for everyone, but if you are open to a rustic atmosphere, then it is highly recommended. The location is right in the center.

29/08/2024: mehh... you arrive in Auch, the historic capital of Gascogne, a historic city with an imposing cathedral, you stay at the Hotel de France. Hotel de France, in the town hall square, the most you can expect, a hotel named after the country! Hotel de France, stately rooms... perhaps a little old-fashioned, but with the building and the rooms you feel like a marquis from D'Artagnan's time, perhaps you are a little surprised by the kitsch renovation that they have done to some rooms, instead of Leaving it like Versailles seems like you're entering a modern joint in a gentrified neighborhood... but hey, it's the Hotel de France, stately and you expect it to live up to the country... you wake up in the morning and think, breakfast will be worthy from the best nobleman in the south of France, at the Hotel de France... well no, you go from the opulent marquisate to famine: a half-replenished mini buffet, with things rescued from the last line of the supermarket and a pot to boil your eggs ( great metaphor). Total fail, it's not petit déjeneur, it's mini-dejeneur! for god's sake! One would expect products from the area so rich in gastronomy 🤦🏻‍♂️ is that you go to any bed and breakfast and the breakfast kicks you a thousand times! which is the hotel de France! OMG! 🙄🙄 It doesn't matter if you complain, they are French: "well, people think it's good"... normal if they are conformist and have low standards... I don't see the stale receptionist doing many satisfaction surveys either, but that's the hotel de France in Auch, the most emblematic of Auch!... perhaps we should rename it the hotel de France, Ouch! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Next time we'll look for someone else who is sure to offer varied and local products... be careful, the no-dejeneur will cost you €15. It does not live up to the expectations they generate... and the assessment goes down the drain for something so simple, but important, consistency in the customer experience. Either lower expectations, or raise dejaneur.

07/09/2024: Reservation for 5 people made a few days in advance, we arrived in front of the restaurant... it was closed. No one took the trouble to warn us, disappointing, a lack of respect.
