07/04/2026: An excellent, unpretentious place where the food is delicious. (The steak tartare is fantastic, served with homemade fries, and the cheese platter is perfect.) We were lucky to get a table arriving early, but it's definitely best to book ahead.
The staff is really friendly and attentive. Thank you for your warm welcome!
04/04/2026: Everything was perfect! What more can I say? Oh yes, don't expect a casual restaurant experience, the owner is an IRONMAN competitor!!! A must-try in Bazas.

As for the food, it's impeccable: the dishes perfectly balance quality and quantity. It's as beautiful as it is delicious, and you definitely get your money's worth!

23/03/2026: The set menu price was reasonable, however, we hadn't even finished our beer when the starter arrived, so it was cold and I asked for it to be reheated. The meat I ordered rare arrived overcooked; I asked for it less cooked, and the piece from my plate went back into the pile of food to be reheated 😬 I noticed that the meat was precooked before we ordered… what a shame, we won't be going back.

This isn't exactly market cuisine.
Homemade fries and duck or beef—the meat is very good.
But it's not refined cuisine, and the price is surprisingly high!
The plates are very small, the portion of fries really small—nothing extraordinary, and the price is high for a bistro.
Disappointing for a village bistro.
Won't go back.

07/08/2024: A wonderful restaurant in a lovely setting. We dined outside in the early evening as a party of 6 (English family travelling with children 9 & 11). The restaurant team were very welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent, and accompanied by excellent cocktails and wine!
12/07/2024: Personnel très sympathique et bienveillant. Les plats étaient parfaits ainsi que la quantité.
