Les meilleurs restaurants en Ribeauville

22/09/2024: Lovely soup and bread. Great desserts and wine selection. We only stopped for a light lunch and they were very accommodating and friendly.

20/09/2024: Der Anlass des Essens. Wir übernachteten in dem Hotel und hatten von Deutschland aus über The Fork im Restaurant einen ruhigen Tisch um 19:00 bestellt. Es war der Geburtstag meiner Frau, was auch in der Reservierung stand. Als wir ins Restaurant kamen und sagten wir hätten reserviert, wurden wir von der Chefin zuerst mal angebafft: Wir würden hier übernachten und hätten über Booking.com und über The Fork einen Tisch gebucht und Sie als Inhaberin müßte jetzt für beides bezahlen. Hierzu meinen wir: Wenn man das als Unternehmer NICHT will darf man auf solchen Portalen nicht für sich werben. Gäste dafür anschnautzen ist eine Frechheit! Hätten wir eine Alternative gehabt wären wir sofort gegangen. Montag und Dienstag ist es in Ribeauvillé leider nicht einfach einen Platz abends im Lokal zu bekommen. Nun ja: Einen ruhigen Platz bekamen wir nicht und eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit oder einen besonders schön gedeckten Tisch, wie wir das von anderen Restaurants kennen, gab es nicht. Stattdessen wurden wir zu Anfang von der Bedienung geschnitten. Die Speisekarte bestand aus großen Tafeln, die es in drei Sprachen gab. Das haben wir aber erst später mitbekommen. Uns wurde sie nur auf französich oder englisch angeboten. Schade das es keine schöne Speisekarte gab, die man in Ruhe hätte lesen können. Dann hätte ich gesehen, das die Käseplatt mit 3 Stückchen nicht im Menue war, sondern extra mit 12,00€ berechnet wurde!! Kein Obst, kein Gelee oder Zwiebelconfit dabei. Das kennen wir in Frankreich so nicht. Zum Essen: 2x Cremant zum Aperitif- mittlere Qualität, Als Vorspeise : Lachs- richtig gut und Gänseleber mit Granny Smith Gelee- gut aber eine sehr kleine Portion und das süße Brioche passt meiner Meinung nach gar nicht dazu- ist allerdings Geschmackssache... Als Hauptgang hatten wir 1 x Fisch mit Ricottaravioli- eine ungewöhnliche Kombination und 1 x Pfeffersteak mit kleinen Kartoffen-sehr gut und Medium auf den Punkt! Der Pinot Noir von Adam Amerschwier passte auch richtig gut. Fazit: Gutes Essen aber sehr unfreundliche Bedienung-Wir kommen da nicht mehr hin!

15/12/2024: SHOCKED ! They insulted my parents and my wife while we were there. I have never seen such disrespect in my life

15/12/2024: Horrified by this experience, they insulted us all at the table after being late 2 hours in serving our food. We are all shocked, and on the way out they were insulting other customers as well

11/09/2024: Authentic Alsatian food with a friendly welcome and excellent service. Very reasonably priced too. The inside dining area is quite small so it can feel cosy when full but there is a lovely atmosphere.

28/09/2024: I only went to the restaurant here, but that was nice. Hidden in a niche between two houses, it's easy to miss! Cozy, especially for two, you can see that you are sitting in a former cellar, but it is very cozy and lovingly decorated. The vine-covered terrace decorated with fairy lights is also beautiful. Fast friendly service, the food was A1, the prices were reasonable, value for money was right.

23/08/2024: It was a totally successful stay. The staff and the boss are super friendly:) we were even offered something:)

15/08/2024: We ate really well. The kebab was delicious, the bread hot and crispy with sesame on it, the taste was a great discovery. Really a very, very good surprise. The fries were also very good.

14/07/2024: Passing by to eat this day after 2 p.m., we had a great time! Very generous, we recommend!

13/12/2024: When we came for a snack during the Christmas holidays, we were very surprised that by 4 p.m. there were no more pastries… A cold welcome. We had to quickly choose a drink with no card and no price indicated.... When it was time to pay, we waited 10 minutes in front of the counter, while the waitress or manageress made her account book in front of us.... What's more, we were overcharged while the previous customer, located next to our table, paid without being overcharged... the total was displayed on the cash register screen.... To be avoided! Strange way of receiving customers! For friendliness, this is not the place...

19/12/2024: Very pleasant lunch break with the family, fast and pleasant service, generous and copious portions, very good local specialties, special mentions to the waitresses Anne Catherine and Samantha who pampered us!

18/12/2024: It's a great scam! Tourists think they are eating regional dishes and that is just an attack on our gastronomy. I ordered a simple dish: Munster spetzlé. In a fondue pot, one and a half pieces of bacon, industrial spetzlés and slices of munster (also industrial) so thin that instead of flowing onto the spetzlés they become hard and burnt from being heated! For €17 🤮 The veal escalope must be uniformly 5mm thick which becomes a sole when cooked. The fries are also industrial but edible, €21.50 so RUN AWAY!

07/08/2024: Very pleasantly received and Pretzel, Sandwich at the top and super good! Very friendly and welcoming staff. A real pleasure for the taste buds and for the wallet, I would come back for my next stay in Ribeauvillé.

31/07/2024: Bad mood and very unpleasant waitress, downright aggressive!!! I hope it's not like that every day... Personally, disappointed with the reception, fortunately I know the products as a regular.

03/01/2025: Our only mistake was to reserve a table without reading the reviews, based on the reputation of the establishment a few months/years ago (we are local) The waitress's behavior was more than limited and she turned us cold, the meal was tasteless... We preferred to shorten the torture and not have dessert. Damage...

30/12/2024: A terribly long time. Restaurant not equipped to serve 53 people. Nothing good, broth is water. Dried meat and semolina cake and compote to the rescue!! To avoid

03/09/2024: My group has been going there for many years now following another restaurateur who refused us a drink at 5 p.m. claiming that it was dinner time. Since then it has been a pleasure to go to Cloclo.

01/09/2024: We were there today for the Piffertag. Very passable lunch. Stool rental with deposit to attend the parade. At first it was a very nice idea but when it came time to return them, the boss was DRUNK and didn't want to refund us the entire €40 deposit!!! A stool broke during the parade, (good quality! :( She doesn't even care if the person was hurt but refuses to reimburse us! TO AVOID SHE IS DISHONEST.
