27/09/2026: An hour's wait between starters and main courses, chosen from the menu so little preparation was required; a veal stew instead of the ordered main course, and far too salty to boot; helpless and indifferent waiters. Tourists are only interested in your money. Avoid at all costs.

21/09/2026: A rather pleasant setting with a nice little square around the statue. The dishes are generous and tasty. A nice place for a relaxed meal with good value for money.

25/09/2026: They have a vegan sandwich here 😍 According to my research, it's the only place with vegan food. Unfortunately, they don't have plant-based milk.

16/09/2026: A wonderful location. We ordered wine and a cheese and cold cuts platter. Despite the hot day, the wine was perfectly chilled, and the snacks were also good. Overall, we were satisfied.

26/09/2026: A small restaurant next to a pretty fountain, served by a smiling and efficient waitress. The veal sauté with olives was tender and flavorful, and the cannelloni with bruccio cheese were delicious, in generous portions. The dessert was just as good as the main courses.

26/09/2026: We had lunch here. We ordered a burger and a salmon fillet. The burger meat was undercooked and cold, and the salmon fillet was so dry that even the oversalted sauce couldn't help. The staff was very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome.

26/08/2026: Terrible pastry shop, the lady (probably the owner) was extremely rude and uninterested. €5 for a BURNED cake The icing on the cake: they don't accept card payments, so I asked for a receipt; have a laugh with the receipt (I've attached a photo 😂), the card is more attractive.

18/08/2026: A really cute little bakery, with delicious, generously sized cakes and a truly excellent service.

13/08/2026: Had some nice pastis, then burgers and write with beers. Simple, adequate and not too dear. Good service. Pleasantly seated by a fan.

05/08/2026: Very warm welcome from the staff, very friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant. I recommend the sharing platter at €38 (all inclusive). Very generous portion for four people.

16/10/2026: I come here occasionally for a drink and I've always found the young people who work there very friendly. This morning, for the first time, I had a very bad experience... We ordered an espresso and a decaf Americano, but the waiter, who was about fifty years old, charged us €4.40, charging us the price of a double espresso for the decaf Americano, claiming that an Americano counted as a double. Since the price was higher than what we usually pay, I tried to ask for an explanation, but he simply maintained that that's how it is. I found his approach rather dishonest, especially in a small town where people regularly cross paths...

28/08/2026: Delicious food, generous portions and friendly service!

29/09/2026: Unfortunately, extremely disappointed. My colleague was served a triple dose of diarrhea. The pizza dough was raw, raw, raw. Plastic was also found. The wait was extremely long and the organization was nonexistent. The chicken salad was catastrophic. NEVER AGAIN!

29/09/2026: My experience at Café de la Place was very disappointing. The food felt carelessly prepared and was unpleasant to eat. The staff were unfriendly, service was extremely slow, and they seemed more interested in taking smoke breaks than looking after guests. I’ve left with the uncomfortable feeling that something is brewing in my stomach. I wouldn’t come back.
