19/08/2026: As promised, I'm happy to share this review because I love people who work with a smile and who genuinely enjoy their job 🙂 and who want their customers to be happy with their food.
I was on vacation in the region where I grew up with my children.
We were strolling along the canal near Ondes. It was already late in the evening, so I didn't want to go shopping. I thought I'd see if I could find a pizzeria in Grenade that offered takeaway pizzas, and it would be a good opportunity for the children to see the historic center of Grenade.
I followed the previous reviews, which led me to Pizza Pizza, right next to the market.
Once there, we ordered two pizzas, which we thoroughly enjoyed while sitting on a bench near the market.
The sliced charcuterie is cut fresh on-site. The arugula leaves aren't just a few measly leaves... the onions on the Savoyarde pizza are delicious.
Finally, a restaurant that offers quality at an affordable price!
The chili oil is homemade and it's delicious. Yes, it's spicy, but it's truly homemade 😉

I don't know when I'll be back in the area... but if I'm ever in Grenade again, I'll definitely stop by.

12/09/2026: On Saturday, September 12th, there was no more toilet paper, the toilet smelled strongly of urine, and there was a layer of blackish residue at the bottom of the hand dryer.
06/09/2026: And once again, the McDonald's in Grenade is making a mess of things. It's not the first time. Another disappointment tonight.
Order error. Wrap ordered, small pack of nuggets received. Once home, I only realized the mistake. Too far to go back. So one of us didn't get a sandwich, and therefore no meal. I'm not thanking you. The wrap was paid for, and compared to a pack of four nuggets, the difference is enormous. 😡 I sincerely hope they'll return the order for the inconvenience. Be sure to double-check your order when using the drive-thru. Another bad experience recently. 😡

20/07/2026: Passing through the neighborhood after a stroll through La Campagne à Paris, we stopped here for a refreshing drink. We went in as tourists and left with a story.
I went to order at the counter, and Alex, the owner, served me. Three Perrier lemons, two Evian lemonades, and two Americanos: €24 for the table. The walls are covered with photos of him surrounded by faces from the entertainment and political worlds—it's hard not to want to ask questions. I did, and we ended up chatting at length about his career and his life. A real character, and quite a story.
So yes, you have to know what you're getting into. The brasserie has remained unchanged for over thirty-five years, and I brought the bottles to our table myself. It didn't bother me for a second, because that's precisely what makes the place special. For example: where elsewhere they might put a drop of syrup at the bottom of my son's glass, here Alex handed me the bottle and let me pour it as I wished.
Authenticity, an owner who takes the time to talk. It's increasingly rare, and that's precisely why it's so memorable.

23/09/2026: We thought we were walking into a French restaurant, but it had been taken over... so we ended up in a Thai restaurant. Nothing against that, but the food only deserved one star from me. They weren't fries, but leftovers that were very brown.
The meat wasn't anything to write home about either; in short... we won't be coming back. PS: Google MMS needs to be updated better so people know where they are eating.

21/07/2024: Anne la maîtresse de maison reçois ses clients avec beaucoup de gentillesse dans un cadre très calme et agréable. La propreté est irréprochable, et les petits déjeuners bio délicieux. La halle, très belle, est à moins de 200 m avec plusieurs commerces. Vous pouvez stationner dans la contre allée proche où il y a toujours de la place. Je recommande cet établissement...
