10/09/2023: A farm inn near the lake of the same name. Magnificent place, delicious local cuisine. The cheese/ham/chanterelle crust is a very successful discovery. Hearty dishes, friendly atmosphere, shaded terrace, everything is perfect

08/09/2023: We just love it here and come back time and again. Great classic local specialities and our fave waitress of all time who we see every season. Atmosphere fantastic and a snooze on sun loungers after with view of tete de Boston is just heaven

25/03/2024: Situated just at the end of the blue run, at the top of Prodains Express, it's a busy stop over for skiers. The menu has quite stand offering of pizza, burgers, chips, pasta etc. I had the chicken burger which was quite nice. There's ample outdoor space. The toilets are upstairs which in ski boots can be a bit if an effort to get to :)

12/03/2024: Had a steak frites and salade and the steak tasted so strong (manure flavour) I could not even eat one bite. It also was not well cooked and was watery. They charged me full price. Pizza was alright.

06/05/2024: We went there twice by chance; 1x in the evening for a drink and lunch on the terrace to eat. Impeccable service, excellent steak, large choice of whiskey/rum tasting (top) and tapas!

02/04/2024: We had a very good meal here, for six of us in March 2024. We didn’t book in advance but were well looked after and a table was found for us within about ten minutes. Raclette was our choice and it was excellent!

07/03/2024: Great hotel, in a perfect location. Host was very hospitable and charming. Looked after us from start to finish. Rooms basic but very comfortable and clean.

21/02/2024: We booked the apartment to stay in and a couple of extra rooms and it was quite lovely. In the apartment there were two double bedrooms with a shower room, separate room for the toilet, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area where there was a sofa bed as well. And 2 balconies overlooking the mountains. There was a microwave, fridge, a stove and plenty of utensils, cutlery, plates and cups to use. It was also nice they provided with some salt and sugar. It was at some point quite cold, there was no thermostats around which was a downside. The triple room and the double room (not the apartment) we booked were quite small so something to bare in mind. The hotel was very close to the cable car to head up to the mountains where we could ski. And right next to the bus stop which headed down to the town centre, a bonus that it was free too. The owner spoke only French so there was a language barrier but he was very friendly and helped us out whenever we needed.

05/04/2024: Very good experience. We had fondue and steak. Good service. The restaurant is cute and the location is very good. A little be more upscale than other restaurants in the area. I would return.

03/04/2024: Welcome, service, top-notch cuisine, one of the best restaurants in Avoriaz, the only one with impeccable quality, everything is good, it's difficult to choose a dish 😜 and what about the terrace 👏🏼

05/04/2024: Nowhere else can you find bread this good, or you really have to look hard, and I'm thinking of a very vast area throughout the country. For us it is a must. We are not big consumers of pastries but the few we bought were very good, even with a certain originality.

31/03/2024: Exorbitant prices, 500g brioche for €50, this year only the bread is good. And where are the local specialties? There you can find caviar, duck breast... anything and everything. Another Parisian who thinks that tourists are pigeons. To flee.

31/03/2024: At the snack bar: unacceptable hygiene, the meal execrable. Bad welcome, waitress (little blonde) cold and rude. My daughter was sick tonight (she vomited) Hygiene is very questionable. This snack should be avoided at all costs.

12/03/2024: Fast service, even too fast. Burger option without salad not possible, I was “kindly” told to remove it myself.

02/03/2024: I ate well there, there was a long wait though. Because the server is alone to manage an entire service in season, it’s complicated. The server had impeccable service. But on the other hand, quite the opposite when it comes to the barmaid, I think she doesn't know how to smile. She came to give me my plate, almost throwing it at me without the cutlery and on top of that she left straight away. I wonder if she is used to working in restaurants. The food is not bad.

27/03/2024: Exceptional restaurant, with helpful and friendly service, all set in a building influenced by the architect Le Corbusier in a surrealistic setting.
