In this establishment you will only find fresh products prepared over time. What a nice surprise to have discovered this restaurant.... I really recommend this establishment.

19/08/2024: It is a very small restaurant but the food is very good. There was an island with several pasta and salad options in the dining room so you could have whatever you wanted as a starter and then there was main and dessert. We ate very well and they treated us in the best possible way. It's a good place to eat. And above all, go at an early hour because there were a lot of workers eating there and we were left unable to choose a dish from the menu because they had already run out.

04/09/2024: Response to the owner, following my first review below and what he wrote: It is completely inaccurate and therefore scandalous to say that we were offered another real dish (just a sausage which we refused because we didn't want it at all) that we had eaten everything and our plates were empty. No, the meat was not just a little nervous. The chef and the waiter who cleared our plates noticed and recognized (so much was visible to the naked eye) that the pieces of tendon meat which filled our plates and constituted Almost all of what we were served was inedible. So obviously we didn't eat them and our plates left with them. Why add bad faith, to the poor quality, to the gesture of irritation and to the almost absence of compensation for the fact that we were not able to eat our meat? With a little more kindness and business sense this could have passed for an accident... My first opinion: 2 days ago (end of August 2024) A very bad address. Really to avoid. The only dish of the day was a Limousin beef spider. We ask for it rare. Response from the waiter: "That's not possible. We've already prepared a lot of it." Not being able to choose how it's cooked. It started very badly! Our meat prepared in advance and reheated therefore arrives after a certain time, strangely cut into pieces, pinkish, without the slightest blood, soaking in an inappropriate sauce. Impossible to cut it. Only plasters of hard. Only 2-3 tasteless mouthfuls were able to be saved. Why serve these pieces of inedible meat in the country of meat, when we had suspicions about the quality of its meat, as the chef honestly admitted to us. All this doesn't happen anywhere else. They offered to exchange it for a sausage and a free coffee. Is this fair? We had come to taste a good piece of rare Limousin beef, not sausages! The boss, who was very unfriendly, curiously replied that we shouldn't make such a big deal as it was just a dead animal. What connection???? He turned on his heel very angry. For the rest: very coarse chorizo ​​flan and heavy, very sweet crumble on very rare fruits. Really nothing to save in this meal.

14/09/2024: We were delighted with the service offered by Coq Frit' for our wedding brunch (+120 guests) who prepared 25 tasty chickens, cut up and accompanied by delicious potatoes. The impeccable service both in terms of availability and friendliness was greatly appreciated. In addition, the company took care of the rental, installation and delivery of the oven in order to reheat the meat on the big day. In short, an ideal service provider for parties and others at very attractive prices for “catering” services.

30/07/2024: Visit from May 2024 Very authentic French bistro, where you share the table with others. If you order “formule” (fixed price for pre-determined 2 or 3 course meals), the appetizer will come, you eat as much as you like and when your main dish comes the remainder it will go to another table for other clients to continue to eat… Make sure to have reservation, very busy on lunch time. It’s next to the Limoges’s central market, Les Halles Centrales, a must go place too.

30/06/2024: Excellent restaurant situé dans les halles. Ne manquez surtout pas le pâté en entrée: sublime!! Le service est très efficace et vraiment sympathique. Ce qui peut être surprenant quand ne le sait pas d'avance: on est assis sur des bancs en bois et ce sont des tables de 6 personnes mais on s'y fait très vite surtout lorsque les autres personnes à table sont agréables. En résumé, un endroit à visiter et à retenir!!
