10/06/2026: Merci thank you to excellent team this evening. Sarah and Anna are both excellent. I noticed in particular Sarah's training was very good, Anna is new and is already very good. Very impressive. I am a call centre trainer and I am very impressed with the training provided. Very warm welcoming and attentive. Very clean tidy and I will come again. 5 stars.

04/10/2025: Never been to this restaurant. Tried it on Monday evening, August 4, 2025, and it was a complete disaster. There were four adults and two children. The children were served food they usually like and order. Each of us had to choose items that looked edible while trying to vary our choices to try different things. Personally, I like to start with fish, shellfish, and crustaceans with a little something on the side. I ordered some fish, a few shrimp, and two mussels, but without any side dishes because none were available. The fish and shrimp were good, but I'm glad I only ordered two mussels because they were completely tasteless. They must have been steamed or boiled with nothing else, so no salt, no pepper, nothing... I then ordered some charcuterie. "Little" meant very little choice and very few side dishes. I moved on to the main courses where I didn't find the variety usually offered in this type of restaurant, and the same went for the side dishes. I don't usually go for dessert, but given how little I'd eaten, I went to help myself, to, as they say, "fill my empty stomach." Well, I left with an empty stomach. The other three adults were just as disappointed and critical as I was. In short, WE understood why it wasn't crowded. Add to that the fact that the staff lacked everything a restaurant staff should be, and you'll understand our criticism. The reason I gave it two out of five stars is to get a reaction from you. Only the aperitif was good.

26/05/2026: I wanted to go back to Bacchus because the closed Quilles Saint-Martial bar left me with few alternatives... I returned reluctantly, as I've never been very enthusiastic about the wine list. It hasn't changed, apart from some Thierry Germain and a few rare, rather decent wines. Fortunately, we were advised not to expect to be served quickly, as most of the clientele was waiting for mediocre tapas or other overpriced delicacies. The best? Store-brand peanuts for 2 euros or potato chips of the same origin for 3 euros... seriously? What kind of place is this? So, if you're well-dressed, influential, friends with the owner, and the quality of your food and drink is secondary, this is the place for you. For wine lovers, I'm talking about real enthusiasts and not label drinkers, frankly... wait for the opening of the wine bar at La Place, in a little while, but don't torture yourselves at Bacchus.

23/05/2026: The hotel next to the train station is excellent if you are traveling. The rooms are extremely spacious. The only negative is that we could not open the window for ventilation because the outer window was fixed. The breakfast is plentiful.

19/05/2026: Exceptional hotel with exceptional and welcoming staff. Clean room with a lovely view of the train station. 24-hour reception. Excellent! I highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful stay.

12/06/2026: A very nice brasserie. Always a warm welcome, excellent food, and a friendly atmosphere. Never disappointed; I recommend the fish and chips, the charcuterie boards, the cocktails 🍸, and the delicious desserts.

09/06/2026: Wanted to try some local food in a nice location. The dauphinoise potatoes were amazing. Beef bourguignon was also delicious. Made a slight mistake getting the duck rare and I think my taste would have preferred it more well done. But overall happy with the food and service. Atmosphere seems local with lots of people sitting out for drinks- 7pm seemed too early to eat food compared to most of the locals ?

15/03/2026: Passing through Limoges, we were drawn in by the "unusual" storefront. Once inside, we weren't disappointed: a relaxed atmosphere and a fantastic team. Special mention to Célia, the queen of the shooters!

23/04/2026: I was just turned away from having a drink at 2:45 PM, told the bar was closed! There were five people on the terrace and about the same number inside, and I was there to book a table at the restaurant for the week. Well, I'll go somewhere else! Forget about the service.

30/05/2026: I love Jean Burger! Sure, it's a bit pricey, but you'll never be disappointed. It's hearty and appetizing, with Limousin beef, and I think the bread is locally made too—I'm all for it. It's worth the price. Don't trust the website; they put the bun on the side of the burger to give it an artistic presentation—it doesn't really work from a marketing standpoint (at least not for me). And the filters... oh my, a true love affair! Thank you so much! <3 The waitresses are so kind!

01/06/2026: Absolutely terrible, 0/20. Completely disastrous. I ordered a honey goat cheese and an ultimate meat cheese, both in large, and I left with a cannibal cheese and a honey goat cheese without honey in medium. I didn't get what I ordered, even though she asked us to reconfirm four times. But I paid the full price. They should be shut down for good.

31/05/2026: I just ordered Uber Eats, and when I received my order, the fries were undercooked—they were white—and the chicken wasn't cooked enough. I requested a refund from Uber Eats customer service. Please pay attention to your cooking times.

26/01/2026: Arriving around 12:45, the restaurant wasn't full at all. We were refused a table, so Mappi found us another brasserie less than a kilometer away that generously welcomed us. Too bad... I never said I came on a weekend; it's just that the way you told us it was full made me understand we were inconveniencing you, not being a regular customer. Other establishments ask customers to wait a while at the bar, which is much more customer-friendly, and I know this business well enough to know. So this isn't a message posted just like that; I prefer to speak to you directly, but apparently we were causing a disturbance. So...
