18/12/2025: Very disappointed with the meal

06/12/2025: An evening spent together yesterday with our daughter, who is going through a difficult time... and from the moment we arrived, we found serenity and peace. Having come with little appetite, we opted for the three-course meal, as the dishes all looked so tempting. And we weren't disappointed... a delicious starter, perfectly cooked duck breast, and a truly delightful dessert. A generous evening on the plate and a comforting experience in the conversation.

05/02/2026: Group meal, so a set menu was mandatory. The menu and wines were fine; we knew what to expect, and they were quite well done. It's on the higher end of the price range, but it's good, so no complaints there. However, the service... Upon arrival, the waiter informed us that we shouldn't steal his knives (which weren't sharp, ironic for a steakhouse 😅). It lacked class, especially since the knives are removed after dessert. It was therefore his responsibility to count them to ensure we had the correct number. The same waiter then refilled one of our glasses with white wine, which still had some sparkling wine in it. Despite our warnings, he continued, saying, "That'll do." And to top it all off, the waiters don't even know the breeds of meat they serve. We were lucky enough to be served "either Salers or Rouge des Pasturages." And the breed doesn't exist. It's Rouge des Prés or Reine des Prés. In short, to conclude, the service does not live up to the prices.

05/02/2026: The place is beautiful, but the menus are far too expensive. A main course costs €36 without a side dish, and you have to add another €5 for a vegetable dish that's basically just potatoes, mashed potatoes, or mushrooms—frankly, it's outrageous. The scrambled eggs with truffle had no flavor whatsoever. Disappointing. We live in the area, and we won't be back.
