Les meilleurs restaurants en Montlouis-Sur-Loire

11/08/2026: We were eager to try a restaurant owned by the Gueuleton family, and we weren't disappointed, even though the experience started with some frustration. The setting in Montlouis is superb. The old restaurant has been beautifully renovated. Several items on the menu or the daily specials board (which we had to ask for) were no longer available: no baby squid, no andouillette sausage, and the L-bone steak was no longer on the daily special… It's a shame this information wasn't provided when we received the menu, especially the andouillette, which my husband was particularly keen on. We changed our plans. There were four of us, and we started by sharing a bone marrow and trout gravlax. Then we chose a flank steak, sweetbreads, sea bass, and, for me, my L-bone steak was ultimately replaced by another beautiful piece of beef, very tender and flavorful. All of this was accompanied by mushrooms and new potatoes. Everything was generous and hearty! To finish, we thoroughly enjoyed the lemon tart… luckily, they had plenty in stock! 😊 A wonderful discovery, with generous and delicious cuisine in a truly lovely setting. We will gladly return, hoping this time to try the andouillette sausage and the baby squid…

07/08/2026: We discovered this small, family-run restaurant on our way to visit the Château d'Amboise. We were quickly seated on the lovely little terrace. I had the osso buco, the best I've ever had, and I'm not exaggerating—it was truly delicious. I recommend it to everyone. The service was quick and impeccable, and the price was more than reasonable. 15/07/2026: Despite the difficult working conditions due to the intense heat, the servers were very friendly and professional. They were all very attentive. The food was excellent and served in generous portions. I would gladly return.

20/07/2026: We dined at this restaurant in June. Despite the heatwave, the service was impeccable. And the meal... a delight! We will definitely return when we come back to your region.

03/06/2026: He's been my go-to supplier for whole bean coffee for a long time, and every time I visit, I always find something new. His expertise matches his friendly manner, which is a real pleasure. In particular, his coffees are a delight to my palate because he knows exactly how to roast them, and he seems to have a hard time identifying the origin and variety of the coffee. I can't recommend him highly enough. Thank you!

03/05/2026: What a fantastic find! The shop offers excellent quality products. The gentleman (probably the owner) is a true coffee encyclopedia: passionate, extremely knowledgeable, always offering great advice, and very friendly. You can immediately tell he loves his job! Plus, the prices are really reasonable considering the quality. I highly recommend it!
