15/03/2026: The pizza chef is a jack-of-all-trades! He greets customers, takes orders, prepares the pizzas, bakes them, boxes them, and even takes the money by hand. Then, without washing them, he goes back to preparing the pizzas. A little more hygiene would be the minimum required for a food service establishment. Overall, the pizza is more than decent. Exceptional price.

25/03/2026: Generous portions, a little taste of Italy, while also experiencing French cuisine with the superb 300g ribeye steak. Everything is homemade, the service is very pleasant, there's a bit of a wait but it's still reasonable. The only downside is that the restaurant is noisy if you're on the first floor. Good value for money considering the portion sizes!

22/03/2026: Wonderful restaurant! Incredible flavours and a perfect, relaxed and authentic feel. The mi-cuit tuna with sesame seeds is heaven on a plate. And the limoncello is better than any I’ve had in Rome. Perfetto!

21/01/2026: We discovered this little restaurant during our trip to Nice. And what a delight! A warm welcome. Whether it was the homemade cordon bleu, the duck breast with its exquisite corn purée, or the tarte tatin, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

14/03/2026: A huge thank you to the Lu Francalin team for this wonderful experience. I came for lunch with my baby, and the welcome was simply fantastic. It's rare to feel so welcome with a little one: the high chair was perfect, clean, and safe, which makes all the difference! As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. The trio of Niçoise specialties (socca, pissaladière, and stuffed vegetables) is a must-try—fresh and authentic. A generous, friendly place, perfect for families who want to eat local. We'll definitely be back!

22/03/2026: What a wonderful time! The restaurant had a delightful atmosphere, the welcome was very warm, and the food was truly delicious. We shared a dish of cannelloni in tomato sauce and a dish of ravioli with braised beef, along with an artichoke salad for two as a starter. Authentic and high-quality cuisine. We will be back!

22/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Italian restaurant. The welcome was warm and discreet. From the decor to the food, everything was perfect. The cuisine was delicious and generous; we finished our meal with the chef's revisited lemon tart, which we highly recommend trying—it was a real treat. We'll definitely keep this address in mind for when we return to Nice.

16/03/2026: I strongly advise against foreign tourists visiting this restaurant; it's a complete rip-off. I ordered oysters, and when they arrived, they looked terrible—almost all of them were shriveled and limp. Even worse, three of them were clearly spoiled and smelled awful. I immediately stopped eating, but even the small amount I'd already ingested made me feel extremely nauseous, and I felt nauseous for two whole days afterward. Furthermore, when ordering water, I clearly stated I only wanted regular water, but the waiter brought me a one-liter bottle of mineral water that was chargeable. Not only that, but they didn't open the bottle in front of me, nor did they proactively pour me water; the whole process was extremely unprofessional. This behavior makes me seriously doubt whether the water was even genuine. Overall, a terrible experience: poor food quality, terrible service, and blatant attempts to induce customers to spend more. Also, I ate several mouthfuls of sand in the clam pasta; I'm lucky I'm young, otherwise, my teeth would have been damaged. I will absolutely never come back, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

11/03/2026: Quite good food. Loved their Aperol a lot! Ate there with friends including three children who ate the whole lot!

07/03/2026: The food is excellent and the service is good. I'm less keen on the noise (at lunchtime, as I haven't tried it in the evening). The owner is very fast-paced but attentive, as are his staff. It just needs a less stressful and less noisy atmosphere to be perfect. I just tried the restaurant in the evening and it's a completely different atmosphere. I now recommend it, but only in the evening.
