05/09/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me by a close friend who's been a regular for a long time. Since I live nearby, I went this evening with a friend and my dog ​​to discover this wonderful place. What a welcome! We had to wait a while on the terrace before the owner deigned to look at us, and upon seeing my dog, he practically ordered us to put him on a leash, even though we already did. He then gestured towards a table completely off to the side, while another, much nicer one had just become available by the sea. A long, very long silence ensued, worthy of a scene in a Western where the two cowboys size each other up before pulling out their revolvers. Judging by his expression, I had to draw first: "Do you allow dogs outside?" And I loved his answer: "No! Only small ones." In a rather unpleasant tone. I almost asked him if he did the same with customers, above a certain size. But I refrained. In short, I'm not shocked that animals aren't accepted, but being treated like lepers, that bothers me. I obviously can't judge the food, but this experience was enough for me to form an opinion.

27/08/2026: Excellent pizza. You have to wait a bit, but while you wait, the sea view is stunning. Very friendly owners.

15/04/2026: I came to try this new concept at Tendre Poulet, and I can confirm the delicious homemade pasta. The portions are generous and tasty. I recommend it. Well done and best of luck to the whole team!

13/04/2026: Don't hesitate to go, the atmosphere is fantastic! The staff is welcoming! And they've recently started making homemade pasta with several sauces, all homemade with a quality and, above all, a quantity you've never seen before! Go for it!!!

12/09/2026: Absolutely terrible. The "wood-fired" pizzas (???) are beyond words. I'd rather not be vulgar, but I have to say that crap, even wood-fired crap, is still crap. The cheeseburger wasn't much better. The people who give this restaurant 5/5 are probably good buddies...

04/09/2026: The pizzas are excellent, and cooked in a wood-fired oven, which gives them a special flavor. Personally, I love the Joss, which I order regularly. A very good neighborhood pizzeria with a large terrace.

09/09/2026: Purchase of a defective product and refusal to exchange it. A regular customer is now completely lost. Zero customer service skills. Absolutely avoid.

10/08/2026: So I bought two packs of cigarettes and wanted a glass of water, but they refused. Then a customer asked for a glass of water and gave it to me. Bistros aren't what they used to be. I'm not sure refusing drinking water is legal 🥺🥺🥺 It's really shocking.

29/01/2026: A friendly restaurant with highly professional service and a pleasant atmosphere in a lovely setting. Delicious, traditional cuisine at a very good price. A must-try!

24/01/2026: Worst pizza I've ever eaten, better to get one from the supermarket and cook it yourself. It was gooey, not good at all. The server/owner is cold and it is as if you are bothering him to be there

11/12/2025: A mediocre restaurant, definitely one to avoid. The food isn't fresh; they mix leftovers with new ingredients. There's a large dog that barks at you when you arrive. It's a shame because the setting is really nice.

19/11/2025: Casa Di Luciano was the worst food and experience I’ve had in France. The bread was stale and the food was completely unpresentable and tasteless. The waiter said everything was fresh from the market, but all the vegetables were complete mush and tasted as though it was frozen. Both meals were garnished with overcooked spaghetti, and the beef stew I ordered was completely watery. When we brought this up with the waiter we were told to “go to McDonalds” - completely disrespectful and uncalled for. We left hungry and disappointment. I would highly advise to avoid this tourist trap if you have respect for finer cuisine.

17/09/2026: I usually recommend good places, but I think it's also important to point out really bad experiences. I'm a food content creator, and I regularly review restaurants, bars, and other establishments to share my favorite spots with my community. So, I've had my fair share of experiences… but I'd never encountered anything like this. I ordered a glass of Côtes-de-Provence red wine, which was served warm. I simply pointed out to the waiter, with a smile, that red wine from our region is usually served around 15 to 18°C, and I simply asked if he had a cooler one. Instead of simply responding to my request, the waiter stood his ground and insisted that, in any case, he did what he wanted in his bar, that if he wanted to serve mulled wine, he would serve it hot, and that if we weren't happy, we could go somewhere else. From that point on, his attitude became particularly ironic and unpleasant. No discussion was possible, no attempt was made to understand a simple, non-aggressive remark. He clearly made us want to leave, all while laughing at the situation. It was so surreal it felt like a comedy sketch. I had never seen a waiter respond to customers like that for such a trivial comment. When you go to a restaurant, especially on the coast, you pay for both the quality of the food and the service. Unfortunately, that evening, neither was present. As a food writer who spends his time discovering and testing establishments, I can honestly say that I have never experienced such a treatment. martial_blin

15/07/2026: The waiter or the owner… is simply arrogant and unpleasant. It completely ruined our experience. We even apologized for being there 😒. I strongly advise against going… AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

14/09/2026: Extremely disappointing experience. If you are Khaleeji or with Khaleeji friends you are asked to pay over 200€ just to sit in the table! A JOKE. We felt singled out and discriminated against because of where we come from. No customer should feel that their nationality determines how they are treated or what conditions they are given to make a reservation. The service was just as bad. The staff were rude, dismissive and showed very little respect or basic manners. What makes it worse is seeing reviews from other customers describing similar problems with the staff going back years. It’s disappointing to see the same complaints about their attitude and customer service and apparently very little has changed. Cleanliness is another serious concern. We saw a mouse in the hallway. For a restaurant at this price point this was shocking and immediately made us question the hygiene of the place. Maybe try calling pest control? I would not recommend La California. There are plenty of places in Cannes where customers are treated with basic respect and not racist.

13/09/2026: We visited in early August, and unfortunately, the experience left a very bad impression. The fact that they impose a minimum charge specifically on Khaleejis is honestly shocking. It says a lot about how this place chooses to operate and treat its customers. What made it even worse was the attitude of the staff. They were extremely rude and acted as if this were the only place anyone could possibly go to in Cannes lol. The arrogance was completely unnecessary. A lot of my friends and I ended up cancelling our plans to visit because of this experience. Cannes has plenty of amazing places where guests are actually welcomed and treated with respect. With that kind of attitude, they can keep it.

13/12/2025: I rarely write restaurant reviews, but today I came to have lunch at your place. Besides the price, I think my 12-year-old daughter makes better pasta than you do… The dish was bland. The pasta was cooked al dente (okay!), but the mushroom sauce was nothing like a sauce… a milky liquid with button mushrooms still full of water. No seasoning whatsoever. In short, I wanted a good pasta dish, and Gino is only Italian in the color of its storefront!

27/11/2025: Mandatory set menu! Not listed on the menus...main course + dessert + drinks (too late to leave). The main course was pizza-panini?? At first, we didn't know what it was. In the end, it was just bread with a lot of empty space inside.... which was fine, I wasn't very hungry! For drinks, you're entitled to everything except..... water! But it's good for your health! They're taking us for a ride.... The owner or employee wasn't very friendly because you asked questions. In short, it's the last time, not even for a coffee. And as the saying goes, it was better before!

07/07/2026: A nasty person (a man behind the tobacco counter) refused to cash my ticket, claiming he didn't have time, and just threw it on the counter while he was busy ringing up other bettors' tickets. Avoid this place; I won't buy anything from them again.

29/08/2026: Very disappointing since the takeover Le Saint-Pierre used to have a very good reputation, but since the takeover, the quality has clearly declined. The service was deplorable, the dishes very disappointing, and the meat was definitely best avoided. The pizza was also a disaster, with a far too undercooked crust. It's a real shame, because the establishment has an exceptional location and had everything it needed to offer a great experience. As it stands, I definitely do not recommend this place.

01/03/2026: Absolutely avoid this place during the Lemon Festival. The waitresses and the owner asked us to leave the terrace while we were ordering and waiting in line because no waitress was taking our order on the terrace (after a 20-minute wait)! A complete lack of courtesy! Total disorganization!

06/04/2026: Ignore the negative reviews (as we did) Freshly cooked delicious pizza expertly prepared and delivered piping hot and super tasty. Not frozen (as some idiot suggested) and no hour long wait (as someone else suggested) We waited 10 mins for ours… and the service was very polite. Recommend!!

22/03/2026: Unpleasant - Avoid at all costs. Why bother working if you're going to treat customers like this?

12/09/2026: While visiting Lyon, I discovered Zozo ice cream parlor. The ice creams at Zozo are generous and offer something for everyone. I found them so delicious that I went back the next day to try other flavors. The service is very pleasant. The manager eventually let me try the almond and hazelnut ice cream, which were delicious.

05/09/2026: A disastrous experience, I absolutely do not recommend it, avoid this place at all costs! We ordered ice cream. The young woman who served us was very friendly, but the ice cream itself wasn't particularly appealing; there was hardly any left, just the dregs of the tubs. We wanted to sit on the small terrace, but the owner was extremely unpleasant, rude, and completely unprofessional and unprofessional. When we paid for the ice cream with the young woman, without her being present, we weren't asked if we were eating in or taking away. Instead, the owner spoke aggressively to us, demanding we pay extra for eating in, and came back several times to try and get us to leave. A very bad experience, avoid at all costs.
